I wouldn't count on it - it's not often that they tie in character reveals or releases with anniversaries. The original Fatal Fury: King Of Fighters came out on November 25th, so they might release Terry then.

They are certainly both purple ghosts with yellow eyes.Polteageist kinda looks like The Snatcher.
If he was tiny and trapped in a teapot.

One day, one day, we will have that Mario Party 2 Online experience.now that we have snes games can we complain that there are no n64 games
I think it has long been past the point that nobody knows whom will be picked. Like, when we think we know who's likely and who's unlikely, Sakurai just comes and surprises us. Reimu's chances can range from anywhere from next to nil to more likely than we believe.I suppose Reimu's still on the table but let's be real, how likely is that?
...Waluigi isn’t Wario’s brother...Okay. I went through a thought experiment of hypothetical design. The idea. Get Ultimate to 100 characters. Including Echo Fighters.
And I just want to say. Before I go over and explain my ideas. I do not care how “likely” and if this is. I don’t care how “possible”. It is. I’m just trying to make a fun product.
That also said. This is not just filling it up with characters I like. If I was, the list would be very different (and would have Kratos, Sub-Zero and Goku on it). I’m taking into account everything I’ve heard. Some characters on this list I flat out don’t like. But the job of a game designer is to please everyone. Not just herself.
Editors Note: Halfway through this I started writing this like it was a direct presentation. And then even later I started writing as if I actually was Sakurai. Please understand.
So. In order to do this, I had to make a decision on who fighter pack 5 would feature. I discussed this earlier, I chose to feature...
75. Kazuya Mishima - Tekken: He’s the games’s Ryu (just look at his rivals in SFxT), and the easiest character to learn. His gameplay is interesting for lacking much mobility. He has a bad recovery, none of his attacks move him any distance on screen. With the trade off being how strong he is. He also has a “Rage Meter” which builds up as he fights. When it fills up, he can use his down b to transform into Devil Kazuya. The two share almost all their attacks, with the exception of special moves. The two forms also have unique final smashes, based on their Rage Arts from Tekken 7. (He’s basically a very angry Little Mac).BHis stage is Eternal Darkness, his home arena from Tekken 2. If you’re on the stage with Kazuya and he becomes Devil, the coloration changes to match Mirror Darkness. His songs primarily come from Tekken 2
After this, I divided everything up into 3 “passes”. The first one being something a lot of people have been asking for. The “Assist Trophy Upgrade” Pass. This free content update upgrades 5 Assist trophies to playable status.
76. Waluigi - Wario: The Mario series Biggest Looser, Waluigi wields various equipment he has "acquired" over the course of the many Parties and Sporting Events he has attended. Alongside his classic overalls, Waluigi also sports a brand new costume to match his brother's appearance in the WarioWare games, designed by the WarioWare team themselves.
77. Krystal - Star Fox: The magical warrior from Star Fox Adventures makes her long awaited appearance in Smash. Her staff attacks give her incredibly long reach, and her magic spells are perfect for crowd control. In addition to her tribal costume, she also has a Star Fox flight suit inspired by her appearance in Star Fox: Command.
78. Isaac - Golden Sun: The Venus Adept from the cult classic RPG series, Isaac, has finally joined the battle. Isaac weilds his sword and various elemental magics. He can also summon Djin, magical creatures which can enhance his abilities for a short time. But when the Djin is gone, it's effects reverse until the meter refills.
79. Spring Man - Arms: Spring Man springs into battle in Super Smash Bros Ultimate! His spring arms have an incredibly long reach, but the further away you are from your opponent, the slower your combo attacks.
80. Shovel Knight - Shovel Knight: Sharpen Thy Shovel! Shovel Knight drops into battle wielding his iconic Shovel Blade and magical relics. His Flare Rod and Dust Knuckles make for quick but strong strikes and his Phase Locket can counter attacks. His Final Smash? He pulls out the War Horn and blows his opponents away!
Each of these characters were chosen for upgrades due to fan demand, and their status as KO-able Assist trophies, which make them easier to build apon to create a fighter. Each fighter will have a new replacement on the Assist Trophy lineup. Waluigi will be replaced by Mallow from Super Mario RPG. General Scales from Star Fox Adventures takes Krystal’s place. The Golden Sun antagonists Saturos and Menardi crash the party. Fan-favorite Twintelle has come to represent Arms. And Shovel Knight’s dubious rival Plague Knight blows up the battlefield. In addition to these fighters, three new stages will be added. Venus Lighthouse for Golden Sun, Arms Grand Prix for Arms, and Plains of Passage for Shovel Knight. We've also added a special treat...
After much persuasion and debate, Sephiroth has joined the fight as an assist trophy. This brings the Assist Trophy total up to 60! Watch out for his powerful strikes with his deadly Masamune. And if you KO him... He transforms into Safer-Sephiroth. This form is much more dangerous and cannot be KO'd. But he only lasts about half the time as his normal form. It's your choice which to deal with. Sephiroth will also bring with him 4 additional music tracks from Final Fantasy VII, as well as spirits for himself, Cloud's party members, and the summons found on the Midgar stage. We hope you enjoy!
If you were paying attention earlier, you might be able to tell what’s coming next.
81. Geno - Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars: Joining as a stand-alone purchase, the legendary star warrior finally joins the fight.g Geno's powerful magical spells and gun attacks make him an exceptional ranged fighter. While he does not come with a stage, he does come with two songs from his original home title.
After all that, we move into Fighter Pass 2. Consisting of all new worlds coming to the super smash bros series for the first time ever. We begin with....
82. Leon S. Kennedy - Resident Evil: Government agent and slayer of monsters, Leon S. Kennedy is ready to scare up a good fight! He has both his Resident Evil 4 costume, as well as his police uniform from the recent Resident Evil 2 Remake. Using his military weapons for explosive power and his combat knife for precision strikes. But, oh no! What's this? Hordes of the undead have followed him from his stage, the Spencer Mansion! Perhaps he can use these in battle? But that's not all.
82ε . Jill Valentine - Resident Evil: Jill Valentine joins the fight as Leon's echo fighter. She's may be slower than Leon, but she's also much stronger. Her primary costume is from Resident Evil 3, but she can also wear her costume from the original Resident Evil. And she's not the only one coming along with Leon.
Like Brother, Like Sister: Chris and Claire Redfield appear as alternate skins for Leon and Jill. Chris features his designs from Resident Evil 5 and the original Resident Evil, while Claire has her costume from Resident Evil 2 Remake, and a costume inspired by Elza Walker, her prototype design. With this many options, I'm sure there's a Zombie Slayer for every player.
83. Crash Bandicoot - Crash: The meddling marsupial, Crash Bandicoot, is ready to put up his fists in the Ultimate fight. Crash excels in mobility and hand to hand combat with his long jumps and slides. He also has a Wumpa Fruit Bazooka if you need to strike at long distance. In his final smash, he rides a pig while being chased by a boulder, and jumps out of the way before it crushes those he trapped. His stage, N. Sanity Island, features many iconic bosses from the Crash series as you're platform travels across the island jungles, up the ancient fortress, through the ruins, before finally ending up in the dreaded Cortex Castle. Wait.. what's that? It appears the Fake Crash is crashing the party. He can be selected as an alternate costume for Crash. It is at this time that I would like to extend a special thank you to the original game's composer, Josh Mancell, for doing a special arrangement of the main Crash Bandicoot theme for this game.
84. Ryu Hayabusa - Ninja Gaiden: Ryu Hayabusa, from the acclaimed Ninja Gaiden games is joining the fight in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. While his home games feature and excessive amount of violence, he's been asked to tone it down while he's in Smash. In addition to his legendary Dragon Sword, Ryu Hayabusa wields various Ninpo arts. Switching between them can change the properties of certain moves. He brings with him the stage Sky City Tokyo. A moving stage where you run up the sides of building and jump across rooftops as you battle it out. (This is accomplished via a rotating camera). Ne also features an alternate skin based off of his classic design on the NES.
85. Professor Layton - Professor Layton: The dandy deductionist and master puzzle solver, Profesor Layton, is ready to solve the puzzle of battle in Smash. His primary attacks come from his love of fencing. And depending on the match, he will use anything from metal pipes, to fireplace sticks, to a real rapier. This makes him different from your typical anime swordfighter. His special moves come from his homemade gadgets, like his glider and his loose change machine gun. His home stage is the Curious Village, with traps and deception around every corner.
86. Travis Touchdown - No More Heroes: The cool but crude star of No More Heroes, Travis Touchdown, has joined the fight. His beam katana is fast and deadly, and he is able to use his Death Glove from Travis Strikes Again for additional movement and attack power. His stage is the parking lot of the Motel No More Heroes, Travis's headquarters.
In between the two passes, we are releasing a second bonus character.
87. Bandana Dee - Kirby: The fourth party member from the Kirby series had made his much requested debut in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. You may notice many similarities to Kirby in his standard move pool, but his special attacks are all unique, and centered around his signature spear.
Finally, we have Fighter Pass 3.
88. Chorus Kids - Rhythm Heaven: The Chorus Kids from the acclaimed series of rhythm games, Rhythm Heaven. The three of them move simultaneously, like the ice climbers, and their attacks are all about performing them in perfect sequence. Keeping the rhythm, you might say. But it's not just their own mini game they take from. Their stage, appropriately called Rhythm Heaven, can be compared to WarioWare Inc, and features many of the minigames from the series. Battle through them as you attempt to reach.... Rhythm Heaven!
89. Officer Howard - Astral Chain: Officer Howard from PlatinumGame's new smash hit Astral Chain has been assigned to the fight in Smash Bros. Ultimate. In their home game, the player character can be named by you and their sibling takes on the name Akira. Since you freely pick both in Smash, both are simply given the title "Officer Howard". The basic attacks come from the signature weapon of Neuron police officers, the X-Baton. It takes on it's Gladius form for smash attacks, and becomes a blaster for it's side specials. The Neutral Special summons the Sword Legion. If you hold the button, you can control which fighter it attacks. It fights independently of you and can be KO's on it's own. By the portrait, you can see how much energy you have in your Legatus. When it runs out, the Legion will disappear. It will recharge automatically while not in use, so use your Legion wisely. For your final smash.... Each twin also can wear their street clothes, RAVEN outfit, and ARI Medical Gear. You merge with your Legion and assume your super form for a flurry of slashes from your claws.
90. Shantae - Shantae: After much requests, the Half-Genie Hero Shantae has joined Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a playable fighter. Making use of animal transformations, magical spells, and pirate equiptment, Shantae is a fast and versatile bag-of-tricks character with many options. She also has alternate costumes based on the various DLC campaigns from Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, as well as her evil doppelganger Nega-Shantae. She also brings with her a stage based on her some village of Scuttle Town. Watch out for Risky Boots!
91. Rayman - Rayman: Rayman, the limbless hero from the eponymous series has spun his way into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. His lack or arms make him perfect for long range grabs and elaborate throws. His final Smash summons the Mosquito from the original title, as well as the Rabbid party members from Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom battle, who fire their various weapons at the enemies on screen. His stage is the iconic Band Land level from the original Rayman game.
92. DoomSlayer - Doom: The legendary Space Marine and slayer of demons from the classic FPS series Doom, DoomSlayer joins the battle as our final new challenger. His moveset mostly revolves around his vast arsenal of guns, with the more explosive weaponry saved for his special moves. His smash attacks involve the iconic chainsaw, and his final Smash is the iconic BFG, which stands for.... why don't you go ask your parents? Along with the DoomSlayer, you will also receive a stage based on Phobos Base. Which features many an iconic demon from the Doom series. You can also select with classic costume from the original game on PC, appropriately renamed to Doomguy.
And there we have it. Counting Echo Fighters, Super Smash Bros Ultimate now has a full roster of exactly 100 playable characters. Now, if you'll excuse me, i need to retire. Possibly twice.

Any characters who already exist in the game as spirits will have their classification changed. Any ex spent on them will be refunded to the player in the form of snacks. Spirits will also be re-organized so every spirit is once again categorized in series order.
If anyone wants to help me pick out music and spirits for these packs of characters, it would be most appreciated.
Oh. I.... didn't know that. That's... weird....Waluigi isn’t Wario’s brother...

I played ALTTP on an emu before. I was only one dungeon away from Ganon, and then my laptop broke. With SNES Online, this would actually be my first time playing Link To The Past.
