The Pokemon Twitter account is still doing that "one Gen VIII Pokemon a day" thing. The only Pokemon that haven't gotten a day dedicated to them is Galarian Wheezing, the Legendaries, and the two revealed to us yesterday. Does this mean more info could be revealed when they run out of Pokemon to talk about?

I hope so. If we have to wait until October to get more information, that means we'll have nearly a month before release and we still won't know the evolutions of the starters. It'd also mean we'd have only known two Galarian forms up until then.

A thought occours, what if those other characters in development include some Corrins, err I mean, promotional picks.

Gen 8 Pokemon, Fire Emblem Three Houses Character, Akira from Astral chain, Gooigi. There's a lot to pick from.

I think we'll get a few. Not sure who they'd be, but I'm fine with most of the choices you listed.

The only one that I feel is up in the air is Rex, as we don't know if his costume was created before or after Sakurai decided to do more after the Fighter Pass. I mean, it'll still be a struggle for him given how much time has passed since XC2, but it's still possible.

Anyone who got a Mii Costume in a bundle though? Yeah, it's probably a soft deconfirmation for them.

Yeah, I guess Rex is one of the few who I'd consider remotely possible, but I'm not sure if he'd take priority over somebody like Waluigi or a third party.

I don't see them introducing any third party franchises without stages. That'd be kind of underwhelming imo. I know he said that their budget is kind of strained rn, but I assume that if they're announcing more DLC then they have the money to make more DLC.

Sakurai seems to want third parties to have a stage and music as a bare minimum so that depends. I feel we could easily get a DLC tab on the stage list in general where it all would get moved to

The only potential fighters I see not having stages are Nintendo ones, like Byleth or whoever the Sword and Shield Pokémon could be.

In the case of 3rd Party characters, they will probably come with a stage. Doesn't necessarily have to be the case with 1st Party ones.

Then again, we don't how they're doing the DLC, so we can't say for sure rn.
