Everything they've said is correct, but it's always a few days before a direct.Haven't given VRPlant much attention, do tell, how consistent are they?

Sakurai has directly mentioned Heihachi though, so I'd say its him or nobody.Just gonna say the Namco character, or more specifically, the Tekken character doesn't have to be Heihachi. Similar to RE having Jill/Leon or Chris/Claire and even a few franchises within Smash, Tekken's got multiple iconic/main characters to represent it. Hell, people not too long ago were questioning whether Robin or Chrom was the real MC of Awakening.
Namely in Tekken's case, the other two Mishima's with Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. So if any of the issues that might cause Heihachi to not be eligible(be it the passing of another voice actor, or the Pac-Man sprite), There's other options within the franchise.
I'd say Jin's the more likely due to being in more crossovers, and being used as a posterboy for the series a bit more than Kaz, but T7's given Kazuya more attention as well.
Vergeben was leaked E3 stuff in general so him adding Banjo there makes sense. Now whers the **** is that Metroid game he mentionedVergeben if I recall correctly said that he was pretty much done with Smash after Erdrick. He did also leak Banjo after Sabi did, but I feel like it was a "might as well" kind of thing.

Tbh I could see Yoshimitsu getting in and representing both Tekken and SoulCaliburOnly other one I could possibly see is Yoshimitsu but that's it.
Which is why I said him.Tbh I could see Yoshimitsu getting in and representing both Tekken and SoulCalibur
He's literally the logo for Project Soul like Scorpion is for NRSSince when has Nightmare become the "face" of Soulcalibur, where does this come from?
I’d love to see Frisk’s alts honestly. I think these would be his alts.I could see an Undertale character in Smash being either Frisk (with Chara alt. please) or Sans & Papyrus (skelebros ftw).
Frisk is the protagonist, Sans & Papyrus are the most popular and are kinda faces of the game, at least alongside Flowey and Toriel since the others didn't seem to get promoted as much (except maybe Mettaton but idk).
I still feel like this applies to Jin as well, again, due to him being a literal poster boy for most entries in the series (T3, T4, T5, DR, T6, TTT2). Jin's also had the longest tenure as the protagonist of the series, including the most iconic entry with T3.Two things though.
Heihachi is tied Tekken as Scorpion is to Mortsl Kombat. Pretty much the face, icon and mascot of the series.
He was already considered as a character for Sma4sh and even got a Mii costume.
If anyone from Tekken is gonna get in its him.
Only other one I could possibly see is Yoshimitsu but that's it.
Well, that's really only one thing, is there anything else? He's literally the logo for Project Soul like Scorpion is for NRS
hoping they do with Sun and moon style. We might get a glimpse of the SW/SH anime September 1st.
Place your bets: Does it go back to the traditional formula, or does it continue the Sun/Moon style?
Haven’t seen Sun/Moon’s formula.We might get a glimpse of the SW/SH anime September 1st.

Sun and Moon is a classic example of everyone crapping on a show before it comes out and it turns out greatHaven’t seen Sun/Moon’s formula.
In Nightmare's case, he's more or less the main antagonist of the entire series, with Seig being his heroic counterpart, is the longest standing of protagonists. It's kind of neat to think about that a full on villain acts as a poster boy, rather than a Hero or Anti-Hero.Well, that's really only one thing, is there anything else?
I never said it was crap. I haven’t even seen it.Sun and Moon is a classic example of everyone crapping on a show before it comes out and it turns out great
Can't even fathom how they could do another school series when Galar is one big region shaped like a long rectangle. Ash would have some seriously long train rides to and from school if he traveled. We might get a glimpse of the SW/SH anime September 1st.

Oh no I wasnt saying that lol. I was saying Thats what happend with Sun and moon. when they showed off the new art style, people haaaated it and said the show was gonna be bad but look at it now, all grown upI never said it was crap. I haven’t even seen it.
Milo’s the safe choice. Can't even fathom how they could do another school series when Galar is one big region shaped like a long rectangle. Ash would have some seriously long train rides to and from school if he traveled.
I think it's all but guaranteed that we return to the orginal formula. Personally, I'm just waiting to see who travels with Ash. It must be someone who's already been revealed by now, so as far as possible male traveling companions, Milo is the only one with a decent chance. Well, unless Hop is the lucky guy, but he just reeks of "friendly rival who pops up from time to time".
H I S ?I’d love to see Frisk’s alts honestly. I think these would be his alts.
I don't see Yoshimitsu making it in over both Jin and Kazuya at all. The Mishimas scream "Tekken" way more than Yoshi does. Two things though.

I don't care what the formula is, as long as the SwSh girl protag is angry and has a British accent, it will have succeeded in my eyes.We might get a glimpse of the SW/SH anime September 1st.

If Allister is female in Japan but male overseas, that probably wouldn't be the best idea. The dub would have a lot of explaining to do if Allister suddenly wanted to be "Galar Queen" or whatever.Milo’s the safe choice.
Should be Allister.

We stan a Gender-fluid iconIf Allister is female in Japan but male overseas, that probably wouldn't be the best idea. The dub would have a lot of explaining to do if Allister suddenly wanted to be "Galar Queen" or whatever.
Since when are they female in Japan? That’s the first I’m hearing about it.If Allister is female in Japan but male overseas, that probably wouldn't be the best idea. The dub would have a lot of explaining to do if Allister suddenly wanted to be "Galar Queen" or whatever.
What the ****?? Source pleaseIf Allister is female in Japan but male overseas, that probably wouldn't be the best idea. The dub would have a lot of explaining to do if Allister suddenly wanted to be "Galar Queen" or whatever.

Might've been a typo, but the Japanese site refers to Allister as "she". Don't know if it's been changed since then because it's never really been brought up since the July video. What the ****?? Source please
It’s a pun on Onion and Oni (Ogre)(Edit: Also, Allister's name in Japan is "Onion", so...that doesn't really clarify much.)
Their name is Onion because there are layers to them.Might've been a typo, but the Japanese site refers to Allister as "she". Don't know if it's been changed since then because it's never really been brought up since the July video.

Since Frisk’s shoes are kinda meant to be stepped in, I just refer to him with male pronouns. (I hope that made sense.)*comes out of the darkness*
Did some Banjo-loving Smashboards fourm user just say...
H I S ?
Oddly enough, wasn't there a Pokemon character who did switch genders between the JP dub and English dub in the Pokemon anime? One of the Team Rocket members from one of the Pokemon specials? They were male in the original JP dub, but became female in the English dub.If Allister is female in Japan but male overseas, that probably wouldn't be the best idea. The dub would have a lot of explaining to do if Allister suddenly wanted to be "Galar Queen" or whatever.
At the same time, most people refer to Frisk as a she.Since Frisk’s shoes are kinda meant to be stepped in, I just refer to him with male pronouns. (I hope that made sense.)
I mean yeah, but it’s still up to interpretation. He didn’t do anything wrong. At the same time, most people refer to Frisk as a she.
