I haven't transferred a pokemon since XY cause that five dollars a year for pokemon bank was five dollars too much lol

That part I've always been fine with, 5 dollars per year to transfer between different games never seemed all that scummy to me.

I think most people outside of Twitter have worn themselves out and are treating the criticism like a meme now, if pics like these aren't any indication.

I feel like a lot of the people who were complaining two months ago were just following the crowd. The feeling has settled in and the people who never really cared that much to begin with are starting to show themselves.

Regardless, I think things will only get better from here on out. Seems like with each batch of new information, the atmosphere around SwSh softens a bit more.

Frankly without the full roster I can't really see the positive about Sword and shield, with the full pokedex the franchise felt like one interconnected world and I always felt like this was the intention.

Without it it just breaks the vibe this series always had.

Ignoring the dex is one thing but I've seen people write off a bunch of other issues with the game as "Well that's Pokemon all right!" It got on my nerves so much to see that nobody cares about the series dip in quality.

Personally, I think it would be pretty neat, plus with shovel knight (and shantae if there's any credit to "spirits deconfirm fighters") ruled out, I think an Undertale rep could be a great indie rep. Plus, having undertale music in smash would be great.

I feel like the whole SwSh thing will come down to the nat dex. If you don't really care, you'pl enjoy yourself. If you can't get past it's removal, you're gonna have a hard time. And that's all there is to it. I myself am neutral, I don't care, but it would still be nice to have it. I still think I'm gonna enjoy it, as I never really got attached to mons.

I don't think a protest of any kind will work, it's Pokemon, I mean people try to boycott modern Star Wars and that still sells like hotcakes, but GF has made it clear that they heard the concerned, which is a good thing. Perhaps after SwSh, they'll spend more time on Pokemon? Patch some of them in? Who knows, but acknowledgement is good.

I don't blame anyone for buying or skipping out, I mean, I wasn't happy with what they showed off at E3, but overtime, I grew to enjoy what seemed to be a fun game.

Now, as for why the controversy is still roaring is beyond me, but someday the fanbase will call it quits and stop hurling crap at each other.

I just hate the excuses Gamefreak gave for this, "High quality graphics" and "Balance" when from what I've seen neither of these are actually true.

Dynamax and Wheezing are too broken and the graphics don't look that good, the game just looks like a Sun and Moon rom hack to me.

Legit, I can see why people are unhappy with Megas gone, but I do not see why people are upset about no Z-Moves despite every hating them in SuMo.
