I'm of the opinion that they'd give her Aymr regardless of whether it's academy or war Edelgard. Sakurai typically likes to give playable Fire Emblem characters the endgame variants of their weapons, with the sole exception being Chrom (since he reuses the Final Smash model).

Plus, academy Edelgard using Aymr isn't as weird as Shujin Joker summoning Arsene. :p

Before this turns into another debate of depression and whether or not people are capable of making a better future, I'll just say that losing loved ones is tough and requires a lot of support from friends and family.

I'm excited too. I haven't been able to play the bk games (yet) but Banjo looks like he will be a really fun character.

I'll take timeskip Edelgarde personally. Being a superheavy would help separate her from the other Emblemiers more, and she plays a more prominent role in the GD and (I assume) BL routes post time skip.

The Guangzhou Charge, Philadelphia Fusion, and Atlanta Reign have all clinched a post-season spot due to San Fran's win tonight.. Top 11 are secured.

So now, it's a battle for 12th place in the league, which is the final post season spot. And it seems likely that it comes down to 2 teams: either the Chengdu Hunters or Los Angeles Valiant will get rank #12 and the final wildcard spot for the post season. Dallas and Paris are *technically* still in the race as well, but they have next to no chance to make it in.

...I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. The beginning of my summer started out pretty sour as my grandma died due to a heart attack, I went through a depressive mood on the week after that day, and had to deal with a LOT of crazy existential thoughts from the whole event. Don't worry, they've been starting to become less frequent than before, and I feel a lot better now emotion-wise. *hugs* Just so you know, you don't have to handle this alone.

I have the impulse of "I can't wait", but I've been waiting for 15 years, so I can handle waiting 2 months (give or take). BZocky BZocky discovered Banjo & Kazooie's thumbnail on the website, even though it's not there yet, until their page is put up. Thought it would be right after Hero's release, but perhaps it'll take longer for their page to come up. There are so many questions--what are their aerials, will red feathers be incorporated, are there more egg types, are they all-around or **** tier, is that scene in the trailer an indication of a Grunty stage boss... And we'll be getting answers soon enough!
