Anyway, I gotta say that was a really anti-climatic ending.
I don't know if it affects anything but I took the Golden Deer route.
Only two fights with the true villains near the end and it's over. One that takes place in an underground city which they didn't really explore much and then Nemisis just kind of pops up in the end with very little build up and no foreshadow to suggest he was alive before then. And even on Hard/Classic the battle wasn't really difficult aside from Nemisis himself having bloated stats.
I also expected some sort of gigantic beast or dragon to be the final boss. Maybe even have the Sword of the Creator transform Nemisis the same way the Lance of Ruin did to that guy in the first half. Monsters in that game seemed to have been practically designed to be boss fights so it's really weird they didn't go with that.
What a disappointing way to end to such a fun game.
the other routes' endings will be much more to your liking then
personally i loved GD's final boss but he does feel a bit out of place in a game specifically focused on beast enemies and gambit mechanics
