I wonder if this update to the terms of privacy and service will mean the end of the temporary thread soon, since it was only created as a non-permanent replacement to hold us over while they worked on reforming the rules.

What concerns me is the "Hate Speech" rules. These are better when the rules are simple. Don't harass/discriminate based on race, gender, identity, etc. Don't use epithets. BOOM. Done. The problems lie in the standards becoming much more broad and the scope of speech possibly causing someone discomfort being redefined. It does the opposite of its intended purpose. Creating a hostile environment rather than mitigating one...
