maybe it's just because I'm on normal but three houses is painfully easy

normal mode is painfully easy by the mid-game

it starts out fairly decent but quickly drops off as you inevitably get some good growths, at which point the balance tips heavily towards the player

the only problem is that hard has some pretty hefty difficulty spikes post-timeskip

I mean, playing on Hard & Classic would help remedy that, for the time at least. (Tho yeah, a common complaint I heard is that the game is quit easy, tho for me, it's a plus I say)

Also, I just recruited Hilda because, honestly, why the **** not at this point?:estatic:

Mystery Dungeon in general > The mainline Pokemon games in general

Yes, I still enjoy the main pokemon games from time to time. But, I'm not a big fan of them like I was throughout the 12 grades and early college.

yeah, I probably should have started on hard, but I expected normal to be more of a "medium" difficulty

it kind of feels like it wasn't balanced around the player doing any paralogues, I'm only doing around two battles a month and my units are 3-5 levels above the enemy

I'll definitely be doing the other routes on hard mode but I've heard that even that's fairly easy

The difficulty is my only real complaint with the game though, and the extra difficulties later will likely alleviate that

My favourite meme from Three Houses is the dynamic of Seteth and Flayn being out of touch and Flayn just repeats anything students say or do and Seteth asks the professor to fetch a student so he can learn what it is.

Honestly, I like the Pokémon spinoffs more than the main Pokemon games. You ask me they got more creative than the main series ever did.

How not to die. Don't be Stupid. Yeah a lot of causalities in FE happen because the tactician was being stupid. If you know your mage is within range of an archer don't just bank on luck hoping the enemy will miss. I know it gets your blood pumping when your Pegasus Knight narrowly escapes getting hit by an archer but you have to be more careful.

Once in a while I go back to watching the reactions to Ridley and King K. Rool to pinch myself reminding me how glad I am to witness Smash Ultimate

I have begun the 2nd half of Toradora. Here's to hoping that character development continues to be solid, because so far it certainly has.

I hope the rumors for MVC4 come true, it be great to see that during evo here. There was the old rumor from earlier in the year stating infinite was being reworked into a proper mvc4 with that exact title. So I hope it’s true. It be great to get Phoenix back. Ngl it be sick if we could get edgeworth as a character too or even manfred von karma as a bad guy from the franchise

I thought FE already was an A-Lister based on how Nintendo has been treating it ever since Awakening saved the series from dying.
