Remember that old 5ch rumor mainly with Velvet? Well I definitely think the guy has legitimate sources now. He only believed Hero, but he also said Erdrick's armor and Slime Hat were mii costumes which ended up true.

And he also figured Lloyd and Yuri were Mii costumes and considering the new mii costumes were only from the same series as the DLC Fighter so far, it lines up. and the guy said that 8 sources heard it was someone from Tales. Along with some Insiders we know of here hearing Lloyd and Yuri.

But the suspicious part is the Resident Evil and Nakoruru part. Only 4 sources heard these two. But there's three spots left. So I think it's:

1.Just one of these two(might be Jill for RE if it corrsponds to the Fighting Female rumor)
2. One of them being a bonus character to purchase
3. Just not legitimate at all.

Like the 5ch guy himself said, he was only confident in Hero. But it seems like Tales is the most likely for the one of the last two based on Insider info right now.
But if Banjo only comes with Microsoft Mii Costumes, then no doubt to me that the last two DLC characters are Namco and Capcom(aka Tales and Resident Evil), while there could be Mii Costumes outside of character releases, so far the only major non-character patch briught no mii costumes which implies only 5 waves of Mii Costumes.

Oh yeah, another reason to consider there being only 5 waves of Mii Costumes is that although Smash 4 had Mii Costume waves outside of characters, Roy and Ryu were originally going to be released later than Lucas. And considering there were only 2 waves of costumes outside of characters before Cloud, those were probably when Roy and Ryu were intended to be released respectively.

Don't really know what to say about the other stuff, but the insiders here that heard Lloyd and Yuri (the insiders just being Sabi and Fatmanonice who's a member of Sabi's discord) just had some random guy join them and share info, with some story that sounded plausible, so that info could've been faked by the guy that told them. I don't think Sabi wanted to share it initially. And they weren't supposed to be mii costumes, but one of them being playable.

The 5chan guy might have been false, too; somehow he knew the ballot's votes.

It means how many many overall stat points your character has. So say your character has an 80 number on the bar and they have 13 speed. If their promotion results in them getting 15 speed and no other stat changes, then the bar number will be 82 (+2 for the speed).

This one from 5ch which I summed up a few months ago:

2nd DLC Line-up

-Unlike the other poster with the 1st line-up, the poster of this one says he had some anonymous sources about the information about the DLC.
-Erdrick/Hero is coming and with a Slime Hat and Erdrick's armor. The poster himself thinks Erdrick is not part of the pass because of how long he was known. This is the only character the poster is sure is coming.
-A Tales character was heard according to 8 different sources. He think's it's Velvet Crowe with a new Yuri Lowell mii costume and the returning Lloyd Irving costume.
-4 Sources heard Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown
-Those same 4 also heard a Resident Evil Character.
-He's heard of Minecraft content, but is not sure if Steve is in.

I don't think Slime Hat or Erdrick Armor costumes are smoking guns though. Those are not very outrageous guesses.

I would suggest to also try DQXIS if you have the chance.

Of course Pokémon may take priority for you due to fair reasons, but I feel that you will enjoy DQXIS to some extent even if not as much as Pokémon.

Dragon Quest was on my radar, and I may still pick it up some time next year, but as of right now I’ve got to start saving up for more important things.

The only games I’m planning on getting for the rest of the year are Link’s Awakening, Luigi’s Mansion, and Pokémon Sword. I pray Nintendo doesn’t announce any crazy new games for this year cuz I really can’t afford it.

Honestly, those are also pretty great choices!

Luigi’s Mansion will likely be on my hands at launch since it releases the day after my birthday, and Link’s Awakening could also arrive for that alongside Three Houses.

Pokémon Shield will hopefully be a Christmash purchase.

Maybe I’m missing something, but there are a lot of characters with mainstream appeal.

Reimu and Nakoruru are not among those. I realize no one mentioned Reimu, but I don’t think she’s likely at all.

Granted, I don’t believe a lot of these current leaks coming out. As I’ve said before, I haven’t heard anything myself. But I don’t believe anything just yet.
