Sorry @Rysir, I had to go.
In case you're wondering why I quit that one match in Pokemon League, the reason is because (You might have noticed) my shield button wasn't working all that well. If it ever looked like I had a significant opening to dodge an attack but just stood there, that's what was happening.
Example: The very end of the first Toon Link vs Lucario fight on Skyloft, I tried to shield that aura sphere, but nothing happened.
GG though.
I believe I won 4 matches right?
:4tlink:#3, :4shulk:, :4pacman:, and :4olimar: right?
Just making sure.
You still won more though.
Annoying words?

Kawaii. I hate that word.
While I don't hate it, I don't really like the word "Rekt" all that much.

The word "brony" is as annoying as "waifu" is. Except the latter sounds like something from the feet. Meh.
The former is just.... people liking the show.
People liking MLP is okay... it's not my thing, but I don't mind it either. That japanese-like word in the other hand.. ugh. People sure like to create weird stuff these days.

Any rabid fans of anything are worthy of hate, especially those that shove their opinions down others' throats.
I take quite a bit of issue with this logic.

The first thing is of course is that what is defined as a rabid fan is incredibly debatable. I heard people say that just buying a toy/plush/ whatever of the franchise you love could consider someone rabid to some. (Apparently going double for bronies).

The second is this idea of people who "are worthy of hate" "those that shove their opinions down others' throats..."

...So you mean haters? I've seen more people who express this hatred shove their opinions down others throats then fans. Anti-bronies, anti-gematsu, anti-gamergate,(which this one can get pretty nasty), are all pretty good examples of "shoving down an opinion" being waayyyy worse from the hater side.

It doesn't matter if they "deserve it." The hater can do a lot more damage then what the normal side even meant to do.

I would love to go into detail of what I mean...but that would be shoving down your throat. Unless you are fine with me going into detail. But i'll stop for now.

Anyway, downloaded Metriod prime triology, won't play it until later since I want to take a gaming break after all the work I put into Xenoblade.

Ayyy, being alone is great if you like being alone :yoshimelee:

2 days ago, my music theory professor gave us a lecture on the importance of study groups and not just shutting yourself up and whatnot, and I was just sitting there awkwardly because I have extreme social anxiety and I thrive in being alone, and I literally function best when I do the things he said were harmful lel

Once I hit college, my professors are all like, "Some students will go through a course not saying a single word when we do open discussions. That's just how they learn. They will process all the information, and perhaps participate in discussion the next day, or not at all. Or they might write down what they want to say, and hand it in/email instead". And then they explain how people learn differently and the different types. Honestly, do whatever works for you.

The word "waifu" makes no sense to me even if it means wife in Japanese. What do you gain by "liking" a female character? Sure, people can like the characters, but thinking they are their wives makes no sense to me.

Half of the bad side? I don't see it as that big of a deal for people to say that. It's silly yea, but thats all that is. Silly. When I was on a mlp forum a long time ago, while I did hear that a little too often, other that people were pretty normal. Them being bad is a bit of a stretch even if it is funny.

Does the brony community have flaws of course. They can care a little too much about the details of the show and be incredibly harsh for no real reason. They can also get upset over minor things.

At the same time, I can say it's probably the most community fandom out there. With people being generally more accepting of other bronies. (With some slight hiccups with things like often times excluding "cloppers," and the like).

Believe it or not, you run into that issue when you judge a community based on the actions of few.

While its true that you can't judge a fandom just by one part, most of the time the bad part tries to be the dominant one

I remember when I got into texture Hacking in Brawl, I downloaded a pack of textures for Delfino Plaza, and it was a note from tne author saying that by "accident" some Pony porn pics were included in the RAR File; when I opened the file I just said NOPE like 20 times and deleted that crap.

It's the same with furries as well. The majority of them love the idea of an anthropomorphic creature. Then you got the WEIRD ones who have an unusually loud voice.

Maybe the members of Korn literally saved their life? Maybe they were in a burning building and Davis took off his kilt just to run fast enough to save the fan?
I would honestly love to see Johnny do that. That would be amusing to hear about.

If a member of Korn ran into a burning building, would they get out...in a Jiffy?

Get it because Jiffy Pop popcorn. Popcorn pops when it heats up. I'm hilarious laugh at this.

Uh....huh...

So why are we talking about the MLP fandom right now anyway?

____

I dislike most of the MLP fandom, but I won't really get into specific details on why as I don't really want to chance it spiraling into a totally different (and complicated) subject. Just leaving it at that.

That said, I'm sure most of you here already well know I consider myself a Brony. But I'm not truly "Hardcore" about it like a lot of others are. I also like some of the better fanart out there (which is hard to find, sadly...) but that's pretty much it. I'm not into the merchandise, and people who cosplay the characters of the show just weird me out to no end.

And I'm not really a "vocal" one either. I never talk about it unless someone else brings it up as potential subject first.

At the same time, judging something no matter who is vocal or not can be way too tricking.

For example, someone could probably point out a thousand bad brony comments on youtube videos. At the same time, I could probably find a million other problems with youtube comments that have nothing to do with bronies.

So then whats the problem? Bronies? Youtube commenters? Humanity just sucking in general?

What about the people who don't really talk outside forums and other fandom specific gatherings? Why should they be included at all?

UGGH!!! My freaking ears hurt! Damn oversized headphones! They squeeze my glasses' temples onto the side of my head... For reference, I'm using Koss UR-20; they look like this.

Should I mention the speakers, drums, cans, or whatever you want to call them are about the size of my hands?! Oh, they sound great, but they hurt my head... I need to get some smaller ones...

So, how was your day? I probably failed my calculus quiz today since I haven't done algebra-level math since my junior year in high school... I faintly remember things and the new stuff makes sense, but I blank out when I see functions and such.

But you have a My Little Pony GIF in your signature. Does that not mean that you are the spawn of Satan? I am not accusing you, I am affording you the opportunity to confess. Big difference.

But seriously, I have never even met one of these brony extremists that so many people have had experiences with.

Well, I got a new job today. I start the 9th. :3

I'm not as big on MLP as I used to be. Never owned any merch or anything, but if someone were to give me a Rainbow Dash plushie I wouldn't say no. RD seems like the metalhead type.
