I have no idea specifically, especially since I only started lurking like 2 years ago.

I've read that a lot of controversial things happened there, mostly in the past when there was less control and people constantly rebelling against the mods. Damn, now what was that called... there was a part of the forums that was just crap. Ahh Life the Universe and Everything (LUE) it was called. Apparently the sub-forum started off decent, but just got up worse and worse as time went on. Just search up "LUE gamefaqs" and I'm sure you'll find everything about it.

I couldn't agree more. The site became so edgy with the new logo and these slogans "Nurture your creative nature" and "Breed and Bleed Art". So much edginess; let's not forget about the typeface.
