Smash is probably one of the few exceptions since it's a massive crossover that explores many different franchises and has its own separate continuity. :/

It appears that many people had misinterpreted my earlier post and I'll just say it in a more explicit manner. I'm perfectly fine with Smash shippings since it's a massive crossover, but I despise any other shipping community in non crossover fighters like Guilty Gear and Street Fighter since shippers use real reasons behind why "muh ship" is superior compared to the canon ones.

They admitted that they loved Castlevania Judgement, the worst game in the entire franchise. Fans were right when they had said "anime NEVER mix well with the Gothic setting of Castlevania".

Did they reconsider the character roster? Because I remember some characters not yet seen in SSF2 from that time (Bowser was one of them, but with his BIS sprite). Atlhough, it was in the same time as the almost-cancellation of SSF2 and Peach fighting with a sword.
