Actually, you have to be quick to not have saw the pause screen, but you have to consider one thing: it's a gif.

and it doesn't seem to be 60 fps so there's basically a way that the pause was there, but not seen in the gif.

In which case if it was for some frames...the description lied....

I've actually speedruned before.

Which is actually what lead me to TTYD glitch hunting. Altough, I would have liked to speedrun TTYD, but due to how crazy solid this game is (you have to use JP to use a glitch I HATE FROM THE DEPTH OF MY HEART) and how long it takes....I basically can't.

btw, the glitch is getting the ultra hammer early and....from a glitch hunter.....I hated so much that I even today hate the chest containing it SO MUCH!!!!

I never speedrunned as I always aimed for 100% with everything. Maybe one day I will. Who knows?
