I thought Mewtwo being a test was more about testing how a DLC character would function in Smash.
They've never done anything like it before, Sakurai is probably used to having everything balanced at the same relative time, it'd probably be hard to balance a new character after everything else is finished. But what do I know, "have you ever made a game?"
I wonder if anyone has already made a list of all of the outfits we've seen so far. It's the internet, so probably.

That's precisely how I saw it. That Mewtwo was a test for DLC in general, not for it's success.

- Wii games on the eShop is awesome, I want to play Punch-Out!! Wii.
- Haven't played a Monster Fighter game before, looks fun.
- Young Link in Hyrule Warriors with the Fierce Diety Mask is awesome. Tingle is... less so.
- Majora's Mask hype!
- Splatoon looks more and more awesome all the time.
- Disappointed by lack of Mario Maker and Zelda U info.
