Yes, I JUST learned a bout the Nintendo direct...I was busy with minecraft TTYD stuff.....that's so unusual from my part I normally always check gonintendo daily.

Though, for hope to have Paper Mario stuff (I know they would probably go for E3....or maybe earilier if we wish strong enough )

Seriously, why do all the direct "leaks" refuse to acknowledge splatoon? I mean seriously.

Also, no "new smash news."

People need to realize Mewtwo wasn't the only dlc. Theres miiverse, tournaments, sharing with friends.

And also, I doubt they won't talk about him. The direct says Spring. Who is being released in the spring. Even then, the directs have shown on multiple occasions to go further then that.

...And I won't be getting it because my local EB Games gave me a faulty code and they sold out of Smash 3DS copies

So, after playing around with it, what are my thoughts on the New Nintendo 3DS?

For the most part, it feels pretty much the same. Not surprising, since it's just an upgrade from the last 3DS model. Of course, there are differences.

The best part so far is how fast it processes. Everything definitely loads faster, and makes opening programs feel more streamlined. Even Smash Bros. 3DS loaded almost instantly. I didn't even get to see the Smash Loading Logo in the corner. The home menu loads quickly. eShop loads quickly. My software downloaded quickly.

The cover plates are a nice touch.

Even though I have the regular size, I think it's bigger than the original 3DS, which often cramped my hands. I wish I had an old one to compare, but my sister is useless in looking after stuff in her room.

The only concern I have really is the C-stick. It is NOT how I imagined it to be. Unlike the loose, maneuverability of analog sticks, the New 3DS C-stick reacts to pressure sensitivity. Its stiff, which I assume is to keep it in place due to size and portability. I tested it on Smash 3DS. It works, but I don't like the feel of it right now. Unless you become accustomed to it, I don't think it's as good as the Gamecube C-Stick. (For all you Melee diehards out there.)

I think it will be satisfactory for controlling and rotating camera views in games, and other purposes. But I don't have a game to test that out.

Edit: Further thoughts.

The Stabilized 3D effect is actually kinda useful. Although it can be a bit jarring because when you move your head, the screen will flicker until your eyes re-adjust.

I like the smaller screens compared to XL size. I forgot how cleaner the graphics look on a smaller size. The XL size wasn't bad at all to look at, but I noticed there seems to be a "scaled graphic" effect. Like when you stretch a image larger to the point it pixellates.
