Link costume is wearing majora's mask

Majora's mask remake confirmed
Man, Brook was such a waste of a character potential. And his design is just blah after the time skip.
LOL. That one is so fake. Just look at Link, he's just a recolored Little Mac. No way Nintendo would ever remake Majora's Mask.

So crazy how people ware comparing the two. At the time I was sceptical of the leak as well but that thing always stood out as the dumbest argument ever.

EDIT: Cmon step it up people

[From a message to Sehnsucht in May, 2014. Inspiration for Epilogue by Sehnsucht.]

-- Prologue

Taking place between Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time, the setting is a world that's just starting to settle into the kind of geography and political boundaries found in OoT. The Hylian fields are fertile as always, but the Gerudo here exist as nomads in a vegetative desert and dry plains that haven't become a sand dune yet. The canyon that leads to Lake Hylia doesn't exist yet and is actually a river that churns out spots of very fertile flood plain soils as well.

The Gerudo have a much bigger reputation for the domesticated animals that they ride for the hunt than for thievery. Their numbers are kept in check by their nomadic lifestyle but also partially by their poor male-to-female ratio. Any inter-clan feuds gradually diminished as they became a smaller matriarchal society. Despite this, they still carry a very warrior-like credo, even if it is not a proactive one.

Although somewhat geographically shuffled into nomads by the river and desert, the Gerudo take a mild interest in maintaining political connections and they appoint an ambassador to the Hylian court.

A few years before the story begins, the Gerudo have sent a new ambassador to the Hylian court. Not long after, the Hylian army escorts a massive cubicle stone piece across the river and begin turning away any attempts at communicating from the Gerudo, who are now barred from crossing over to the Hylian fields.

The stone is placed inside a temple and the temple is permanently sealed off. In time, all vegetation and fauna around the temple begins dying and this continues outward, reaching the flood plains and into the desert where the Gerudo hunt. The Gerudo grow weaker as food shortage sets in and the river cuts deeper into the ground.

-

In the present, Link lives on a Hylian ranch with his uncle, who periodically disappears. When Link comes of age, his uncle shows him where he has been traveling when he disappears. As the journey begins, his uncle loads up a small caravan of produce and milk and explains to Link he should never tell anyone where they are going and why. The uncle drives the caravan towards the Gerudo river, where he meets his friend who became a soldier that guards entry to the Gerudo valley. A sympathizer, the soldier assists Link and his uncle in silently passing through and over the river.

Once they cross, Link's uncle explains that the Gerudo have become starved in recent years and unable to safely leave their desert with the Hylians on guard. The Gerudo aren't exactly agrarian, so he is bringing them food so that they can survive until something happens to the blockade.

At the camp, Link meets the lean, contemplative Gerudo known as Ganondorf. Despite being an older teenager, he is one of the most recent males born to the Gerudo and they are hoping to raise him to be a leader. Link and Ganondorf become good friends over the years during the caravan deliveries. In exchange for the curious tales that happen in fertile Hylia, Ganondorf show Link how the Gerudo become the fierce horseback riders they are known for.

Eventually the Hylian guard for the Gerudo valley rotates and, without access to smuggled food from the Hylian fields, the Gerudo face death. The Gerudo become known as thieves, crossing the river to raid the caravans that pass through other provinces. Occasionally they engage in violent clashes with the Hylian guard. A few years pass while Link and his uncle are unable to reach the Gerudo.

As the caravan routes become guarded, the Gerudo prepare for war. The leaders plan for the Hylian fields to be pillaged and razed. Ganondorf becomes a warrior in a group that leads the first raid on a moonless night. The group cross the river and reach the settled Hylian boundary, several farms reaching a few miles with a major road on the other side.

Remembering Link describing the fertile Hylia and its farms to him, Ganondorf volunteers to scout ahead for any Hylian troop movement as a ruse to reach Link before the raids begin. Dismounting, he swiftly makes his way to Link and warns that everything and everyone he holds dear is about to be destroyed, and tells him to leave immediately. Link gathers up his small family and they leave as the raids begin.

The first fires of the field signal the Hylian calvary to mobilize and they reach the Gerudo just as they are leaving and begin riding them down. While riding, Ganondorf and two others are chased into the desert. The other two are slain and Ganondorf is just able to keep pace ahead of the captain. The captain, not wanting to enter Gerudo territory, hurls his spear into Ganondorf, whose horse carries him a ways before he falls off. The sun soon rises over the hot Gerudo desert.

Bleeding out and dehydrating, Ganondorf becomes overtaken with grief. Why, after trying to save his friend, would he die this way? Why did he have to be born on the wrong side of the river? Ganondorf screams in the desert, cursing his patron gods who have forsaken him and the Gerudo.

The wind of the desert stirs up the dust into the shape of the goddess Din, who appears with Ganondorf at her feet. She commands him to stand up, and Ganondorf not only cannot, but he refuses, wanting to die rather than face starvation, the burning wind of the day, and the frigid wind of the night. She then blesses him with the Triforce of Power while claiming the laws Nayru has shaped did not stop this great injustice. Feeling his strength returning, Ganondorf stands and removes the spear from his body, the scar visually alluding to the wounds in future Zelda stories.

Meanwhile, Link helps set camp for refugees in the Kokiri Forest and later on find himself wandering into a meadow where he meets an avatar of Farore, who is mute and and communicates to Link through intuition. She imparts on him that a great evil is being born and sets him on the path that he will need to go to destroy it (ending in the Master Sword.) Farore then gives the Triforce of Courage on Link. Nayru begins telepathically communicating with Hylia, born as Princess Zelda, who begins working to aid Link in acquiring the Master Sword. Princess Zelda tells Link that she herself is unsure why her father has become so violent towards the Gerudo, and that it all began when the Gerudo ambassador arrived years ago. Link eventually finds the Master Sword in the sealed temple of the Gerudo desert.

Ganondorf hails his return at the entrance of the Hyrule capital, his grief becoming his rage, and treads a near-uncontested warpath to the gates of the castle with his Gerudo company. Where the Gerudo lack siege, he breaks apart with his own hands. Link appears and follows the wreckage, discovering his friend in the court of the King.

Ganondorf tells Link that he was to have died in the desert, and that he now comes to usurp the kingdom and deliver justice to the Hylians. Both Link and Ganondorf are at a crossroads, with Ganondorf wanting to destroy the province and Link wanting to save it, but neither wanting to kill their friend.

Ganondorf turns to begin killing the Hylian royalty, and almost reaches Zelda before Link intervenes. Faced at the prospect of needing to kill his friend as well, the very one he helped save, Ganondorf becomes enraged and emotionally unstable. The courage of the Hero and the power of Ganondorf begin to show they are in equal measure, and, both heavily wounded, the Gerudo ambassador intervenes.

The Gerudo ambassador reveals himself to have killed and impersonated the original ambassador to sneak into the Hylian court. He then used this position to access the Master Sword and stir the sleeping evil within, which began radiating its destructive curse. He then began to mind control the King, manipulating him into placing the Master Sword (and thereby its curse) into the Gerudo province so as to foment a war. (The Triforce of Courage prevented its effects on Link, who also never lingered long enough in one place for it to have any geological impact.)

Out of the war, he expected a suitable vessel for his master's hatred to arise. He then moves forward and summons his master's soul from the Master's Sword, sacrificing himself to break its seal. The soul of Demise joins with Ganondorf's through his hatred, intertwining him with the Demon King's curse of recurrence. Ganondorf becomes a demon lord, and though still relatively weak, abandons his fight with Link to destroy and subjugate the Hyrule capital. Farore appears before Link and Hylia/Zelda.

Farore pleads for Link to continue, and touches the mark of the Triforce, giving him the memories and visions of the Hero who defeated the Demon King. Link comes to understand what is happening and what he must do. Freed of its curse, the full power of the Master Sword becomes available to Link. He follows Ganon into the capital and slays him.

-- Epilogue

After Link slays Ganon, the experience of killing his childhood friend leaves him empty and distraught. The Triforce of Power which once belonged to his friend joins with him and, while traumatized and lacking the balance of Wisdom to wield it, he becomes the entity the would later be called the Fierce Deity. Link becomes lost in a wayward haze, sowing destruction and lamenting the loss of his friend (Ganondorf). In the end, he encounters a kindly mask salesman who begins to play a rather soothing song, and Link finds himself overcoming his inner demons before diving headlong into the darkness of slumber...

A lot of this would clash hard with the established story (pretty much the entirety of OOT goes out the window), and Im not a fan of making Link and Ganondorf friends, sounds too cliche. Plus Fierce Deity is pretty much from another dimension and would have to fight with Majora at some point.

Also not enough McGuffin collecting.

This isn't a re-writing of Ocarina of Time. This actually justifies a lot of what you see in Ocarina of Time in comparison to the landscape in Skyward Sword.

Today, I've found an excellent Marth on FG. He did a ton of things that I don't do on the 3DS (but will on the Wii U), mainly pivot grabs and jabs. The problem is, he was over doing it. He kept doing FowardAirs to intimidate me, tried to do stuff that Melee Marth could have done but failed due to the engine not accepting it and kept going too low in the stage to stomp me. I think he killed himself multiple times by going to low in the stage.
Meanwhile, my Luigi just rekt him with grabs and fireballs and no pivot grabs (I don't know how to do them).

Down Throw NAir too strong for Smash.

Damn, they forgot about him too? I know they don't have Kakashi either. Do they have Kenshiro? Because if not, 1/10 Goku and Vegeta are the only legit characters.
Kenshiro and Raoh are in, but no Rei :/ Also no Jotaro or Dio either which is, heh, bizzare considering Jonathan and Joseph are in.

Also: I just checked out some gameplay videos and holy crap this game looks jank as hell

By the way, check out the new DBZ game coming out :
Looks like DB multiverse had maybe some influence on this game.

I'm back! Time to reply to a few comments I missed:
Big Hero 6 would have been way better if it had Elsa in it was an incredible movie. Disney knows how to outdo themselves again and again
*cracks knuckles* Would you like to repeat that in the presence of the greatness that is Gogo Tomago?
I also saw Big Hero 6 the other day. And I have to say, its pretty damn good :surprised: :)
Although there were some things I had a bit of a giggle at, such as san fransokyo :p XD
It is now time for me to spread my unhealthy Gogo obsession onto you.
Too bad, like Wreck-It Ralph, it's being overshadowed. WIR and BH6 were FAAAAAR better films than Frozen.
Spicy food makes it harder for you to fall asleep. :p
Speak for yourself, I was KO'd once I came back from my snack. :estatic:

So the meme run guy made a move against nintendo life review:
http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/wiiu-eshop/meme_run

This type of game make us sit back and think about our lives/existance on Earth.
I'm not sure if the guy is proud of being 20 years old and still do those type of jokes or just feel insulted by the fact that no-facking-body liked his game, even Nintendo.
Humanity can be disapointing sometimes.

Elsa makes anything better Eh, I love all the characters from any movie that came from Disney. Actually, yeah. I legitimately can't name any character I dislike from Disney

I already said it, I thought Disney had outdone themselves again. Big Hero 6 was amazing

Morning guys!

I'm happy, most of the gifts I bought actually look like they'll arrive in time. I was worried because some had estimated delivery dates for after the 25th, and one even said I'll most likely not get it in time.

But it turned out okay. :)

I feel the same way. I tend to prefer the DBZ games that play more like "traditional" fighters. Maybe I should buy Super DBZ someday. That game looked cool.
Man that game is so friggin good. Too bad we wont see a sequel to it, or a big budget traditional DBZ fighting game. Best we can get is Hyper DBZ.

Disney Animation has really been doing well ever since John Lasseter became the head. Only a few movies prior to 2009-present have been compared to the usual Disney standard of films. My main gripe with Frozen is it's unnecessary villain and the trolls. And yes, Elsa and Gogo makes everything better.

The only film I can say I least like from Disney is Chicken Little. Everyone is a jerk to the protagonist and the whole alien plot was rubbish.

Chicken Little left 9-year-old me so confused. I thought I was SUPPOSED to LIKE it because it's DISNEY and I didn't think anything BAD could POSSIBLY be in the Animated Canon, so I tried to force myself to enjoy it.

It didn't work.

Hyper DBZ looks legit. Gotta hand it to those guys, they got every thing right. The Spirtes are legit, the moves come from the show and the older games. And the soundtrack is kind of like Bruce Falcohner(I probably butchered his last name though).

The closest we might get to a big budget DBZ fighter is if they make something along the lines of the Budokai games. But it seems like the Tenkaichi style is here to stay. It's not bad, but we could use a break from it for a bit.

Man, its really sad how Burst Limit killed Budokai games. It wasnt a bad game either being based on Shin Budokai's gameplay, just very unfinished and pretty limited, plus with some wierd new mechanics that warent all that well thought out. What they should do is make another Shin Budokai but for the big consoles.
