Why not just... go to the circuit this weekend. There will be more triweeklies. And this way, we will have a bigger turnout. It'll be **** lol. Imagine, SD + the Melee community (805, 818 etc.) + DBR.. ! I don't know, just a thought.

also UCSD's venue is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING and i doubt there will be cold hand johns. considering how cold it is getting in socal now, i am starting to think there's no chance luigi's venue won't be cold because it's ALWAYS cold.

i would rather go to SD at this point because there are no question marks at how amazing it is, but the melee community needs to step up, stop being flaky little kids and commit to ONE of the tournaments so there's one great tourny this weekend, not two that split everyone up

Not 40 people lol. I just mean a handful of smashers from SD. That alone would be enough.

Also, regarding P's post:

It's true, Pats' tourney is bound to be amazing. I've only been to the venue once and it was one of the best I've been, no joke. There would be no cold hand johns and no doubt it would have a big turnout.

But....... so long as DBR is going to go to the circuit then so am I. It's not like I get a chance to play DBR in Melee as often as I get to play other smashers. I'm really curious to see how well I'll compete.

So for me, it's the circuit. Competition takes priority for me.

ALSO, if the Melee tourney is held in the small room like in Nexus' it might not be as cold. So we might not have to worry about cold hands, idk.

But yeah, it's the circuit for me.

2. ****ty controller (this only works once, if you changed controllers and you say the new one is bad too, it's no longer legit)
3. Death of a loved one

Nah, Cold hand johns top the list of all possible johns.

Lack of sleep should not be that big of a problem unless you've only gotten an hour or less of sleep.

Controller johns are meh to me unless if the controller is truly defective.

I wouldn't go to a tournament/play in a tournament if my love one died. No johns!

Kira, there's a LOT of fantastic TV out there. I used to think it's a waste of time, but that was before I found high quality shows. Dexter, The Wire, Weeds, Veronica Mars, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Shield (especially The Shield)... Lot of good stuff out there. And I haven't even got to Six Feet Under, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica, etc. that I haven't got around to seeing yet but are pretty much guaranteed to be high quality.
