Yes, I can actually. Star Wars: Shatterpoint is a great novel staring Jedi Master Mace Windu, and it goes into a backgroud unlike any book has ever touched.

For video games, you can play Star Wars: Knights of the old republic. SW:KOTOR is said to be one of the top 5 best games ever created, and it has an amazingly high replay value. If you have never played it before, I insist you play it as soon as possible.

The best book series I've ever read before is based around the character I listed. Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, and Darth Bane: Rule of Two are some of the best books I've laid my eyes on.
