Your Hatred for Marth sounds a lot like my Hatred for Fox. I do well in the MU, but Fox still annoys the Hell out of me. If you want to continue as Peach, go for it. I beleive that people can overcome bad MU's. All you have to do is study the Match Up and practice. I main Pit, but I also main Marth. Even though I have an easier time with the **** Vulpine with Marth, I still want to be able to handle Fox with Pit. So, I practice with both characters. Also, I know a Peach player that beats me when I play Marth all the time. So, it's not impossible.

My problem with threads like this is that the person who made the thread usually exaggerates how significant their decision is. On one side you have continuing to play a video game. On the other you have stop playing said video game. It's not exactly a huge life altering decision that requires the opinions of other people. From there, you get the predictable responses on this forum, "Learn the match up better or quit" or "Nut up or shut up" and yet threads like this continue to be made. It's like posting a "I'm depressed and considering suicide" thread on 4chan and acting like you're actually going to get legitimate advice and not 12 responses that just say "DO IT ******!"

This is weird, because I actually have problems with the peach match up

honestly learning D3 for marth is probably the best CP, since most marths know the mk match up really well, and d3 is rare to play, D3 is easy to learn too

As far as the MU goes, learning how to PS fairs is really good, your fair also outranges marths, even if its slower :/

The reason I hate playing peaches is when they actually get inside my range, and stay there.
Marth is really bad at point blank range
