Dead. *****es.
Snake dominates the land.

Marth dominates the air.

I say its a close match up but snake wins.

Ill let the others say more. IDK

Snake- camp with nades, space with ftilt. :p

Marth- take him to the air. Dont miss an opportunity to juggle. If u get a grab in dont be a scrub and throw him forward like every other character. Throw him up. And start making it difficult for him to land with uair, utilt and grab to uthrow. If snake hits ur shield with the first ftilt immediately upB out of it. Because if u take the second one ull be too far to use it or even punish him with anything. Predict and grab his mortar slide. Be careful of his broken zohan. I think its 55:45 or even.

the main issue here is the range of snakes tilts which limit marth in so many ways, also the 2nd hit of the ftilt outranges any of marths moves. If the marth is good at juggling, then this match is almost even, if not then snake takes it down very often.

Lest we forget:

Snake has a huge plethora of options when it comes to set-ups and traps for an opponent on the ledge. Marth's recovery is such that he usually ends up being hanging on the ledge, and Marth has very few options for recovering back onto the stage out of that situation. You HAVE to mix it up in this matchup, and I would say always take the lowest risk solution to making it back on the stage because Snake can and will punish you.

Also when snake is off stage, get in free hits while he is cyphering! AND STAY AWAY FROM HIS BACKSIDE (massive bair). If he recovers high, this is a big mistake... start juggling the punk (while wary of dropped explosives)! Marth's uair beats anything coming from directly above, as does utilt.

Eh I prefer BF, for this one. I used to cp RC against him, but I got frustrated from all the times I got utilt gayed at 50%. Really low ceiling at some parts >_>
this is the truth if you accidently mispace on the top part of the cruise snake has an easy kil laltnerativly you can get an easier kill there as well. RC does keep him in the air though... but anytime i cp RC the guy just slobs onto mk... which makes for a very frustrating match up.

yeah , but those platforms help marth more often than snake . Just gotta use those juggle traps that are round in this board .

Yeah, you don't even have to DI. Just up b and Marth will hit him back out around the third hit.

I was exaggerating, but it's certainly a better situation for Marth than on other stages.

I get ledge trapped by snake really easily. You literally have to get through a barrage explosions. This is why I CP delfino, I can usually ledge camp until the next "pit stop."
