i agree. I dont know what happened to the VCR that was there, I brought it to record finals etc. and I put a tape in a little before brackets started but someone stopped it for no reason which makes no sense

Well I'm glad I camera'd it. I figured it would be more of a backup, but I remember someone messing around with that during the "Darkrain Challenge." Perhaps that's when it was put in. I'm not sure.

Anyway, I think the videos turned out quite nice really, better than most camera recordings. BlackPanther seems to be a bit upset at the fact that the videos were recorded on camera when that was the backup plan. Without that camera we wouldn't have any video. Of course direct recording from the source would look a bit nicer, but this camera did just fine. Better than fine. I'm just trying to get this stuff synced and uploaded for you guys which really isn't the easiest thing in the world so give me a little break at least...? =P

Anyway, like I said. They should all be up by the end of the weekend.

I have satellite internet aka less than dialup upload speed. I also have a 200MB cap on my internet. I will get them uploaded at public wifi like Panera or something. Its fine. Plus I'm not totally finished syncing commentary to video and dividing them all up. Don't worry though. It's almost finished and I'll be able to beast it all this weekend.

Maybe they thought it was off? Was it you who started/stopped it whenever Darkrain was just smashin kids one after another? Someone did something to it...

yeah I was the one who put in the tape while darkrain was playing we caught some of those matches and we'll prolly put some up...but i dunno who stopped it and why

rofl, its kinda ridic that he got mad at sliq talking when the crowd is alwaysssss pro darkrain and screams for his ****, and that ****s with people as is. atleast it does for me, when he starts up a combo and people are going....."ohhh" for the build up and whatnot <_<. it gets in your head.

its kinda annoying when they yell for no reason, like grab to another grab on sheik when she's at 0%....but i didnt mind it when they yelled cause its fun to shut them up by winning lollol

I know its kinda been awhile since smym, but I meant to ask,

I still have a handfull of matches on my comp that I haven't uploaded yet, the only other one that is tagged a char(falcon?) named tcp or something, if you would like to claim that or ask about another match, just say so.

I understand completely, when I was doing the lil "darkrain challenge" that **** ****s you up. gotta get used to the pressure. Nothing like getting tech chased while n1ggas in the background "ooh and ahhing" talking **** like they could avoid it lol.

ya that annoyed souroush too

im sure it would suck for me too.

it's fun and all to root for someone but i didnt even watch the finals cuz ppl were going nutz for nothing. it annoyed me to hear them lol

I found myself pulling for Matt toward the end.

There was a whole section of people cheering for Matt (mostly UIUC people I guess) behind the table we were running of the tournament from. I suppose we got drowned out though.

What is with all the hate? I didn't get mad at sliq. I asked to him to give it a rest in the most polite way possible. It was distracting because he was right next to me talking about kanye west and buying soroush milk or beer or something.

It was less that the commentary on what was happening that was distracting it was that he was talking about completely unrelated things during the match. I agree that it was entertaining which is why I couldn't help but pay attention to every word he was saying. It was a pretty legit request imo...
