We can put you in doubles if you call scar.

For future TSA tournaments, I might wanna get some kind of free pre reg like Chibo is doing. That would make it much easier.

Setups

Alright guys, it's the day before SPOC. PLAN TO BRING SETUPS.

I have like 5 tvs, 4 of them are without cubes, so if you think that bringing just a cube or just a copy of smash isn't helpful, you are wrong.

BRING TVS
BRING GAMECUBES
BRING COPIES OF SMASH

Bring VCRs if you want, I have extra blank VHS tapes

Whatever you feel confident that you will remember before you go home, pleaaaase take with you. I am working as hard as I can to bring as many TVs as possible, and it's looking like we will have a lot, but the venue is HUGE.

We can fit as many TVs as people bring.

Can't wait.

I'm just going to be there to watch and play friendlies so do I still have to call him if I'm late? And is it worth competing even if I'm not good? Btw I'm going to bring SSBM and a memory card with all the stuff unlocked (this is my first tourny so tell me what it needs to have), I'd bring my Wii but it crashes alot but my disc worked perfectly fine on my friend's Wii.

if the venue is as epic as you claim, you should host a melee major

i have no faith in ohana being a success =\

You aren't going to get better if you don't challenge yourself.

I would suggest playing in the tournament, but you definitely want to get a ton of friendlies with as many people as possible. Tourny matches are like 1000 times better for improvement then friendlies.

I'd definitely say it is. I never make it far but I always try, because everyone needs to start somewhere. Its good to know how its like and plus you'll learn eventually.

I'm most likely bringing a cube/tv/melee (I think)if I go btw. The tv has a built in cassette recorder I just gotta find the remote x_x

I love that there's no venue fee lol and apparently Ultima is supposed to be amzing at link dittoes on hyrule...
Lol pity thats a banned stage or else Ultima would be near unstoppable on that stage.

and to Stabby, you might do some friendlies but eventually you'll get into the rush and enter

so...the odds are is that you'll have to not bring any money for you to not enter. We'll have to do some friendlies beforehand.

It really is. Chibo's is the only one that's nicer, but he has to pay for it while I do not pay for mine. And I'm working on it, me, Wife, and Chibo are looking to join forces to bring a major tourney to the world.

We need people to come, though.

We should start doing smaller bi weeklies or monthlies and charge a venue fee. Use the proceeds to get like a projector or a speaker system. Or we could do what Kansas did and have the OOS bonus. For us it would have to be an Out Of Region bonus. If M2K or another local smasher wins we put the money toward making it better or roll it over and keep having the OOR bonus get bigger and bigger.

Lol yeah, yeah, just remember Ultima I seem to recall a thread where you'll **** all ganondorf's in a five yard radius and I'm pretty sure there'll be a F-air number of them that will want to take you up on your offer.

If that fails then I D-air you to do double ganon if you can B-air it...U-air

OOR is smarter, tristate is basically one state nowadays but we can't very well make Smash States.

LOL we should totally split up the map into the like United Smash Regions of America. WC is not invited SORRY POCKY.

Also anyone with a drexel ID can get a free projector. Can we work together on this?

i may bring a tv if and only if you tell me about parking and its convenient

=)
Everyone drops the TVs off at the venue, and if you don't have my cell number take it down right now 215.771.0626, then parking is a few blocks down, free all day. It's really easy for being a city tourney.

LOVE YOU JAVI

EVERYONE COPY DOWN MY CELL NUMBER, you may need it tomorrow.
