This gives the general idea, though where it says single elim at the end it's obviously double instead. Also, you don't have to drop people down to a 16 either:

If there's actually over 30 people that show up and we really need to do a tournament it may be better to just have pools instead though, or maybe just do 2 rounds of swiss to get a reasonably balanced seeding in a short amount of time.

I think it would be best to just go KOTC style, and do a pool for seeding. Have everyone sign in at the door when they come in, so that you have everyone's name down and can begin setting up seeds before the tourney starts. If WoZ is here, he should be able to do the whole thing by laptop...he helped me for a tourney I hosted once at my school.

To all those that are coming, thank you for bringing setups, and power strips, what-not
If anybody has any folding party tables or Card tables; PLEASE bring them - this will help greatly with the setting up of more stations. Many people will have to stand outside for quite a while if the estimated headcount is correct- haha

Wow, still cant beleive that we pulled the Fest off - Amazing gameplay and matches, we REALLY lucked out on the Weather SKaG- haha . . And YES arthritis of the cold, but whoda thought that we would get 12 TVs running from that little building? Haha
All-In-all it was a great experience for me and i hope for everyone else; i was honored to host it and have you all, no doubt my game has improved dramamtically from the 8+ hours of non stop Action! My parents also would like to extend our thanks for the respect you all showed to my PaD and to them, they have Stated that I may host another fest AT ANY TIME WE LIKE- sWeEEt They still keep asking me how i kept 47 kids occupied and how there was no drinking involved-Hahaha, they like this idea. So yes, the final headcount i BELEIVE was 47+ w/12+ Set-ups . . And we could have added more tables and TVS!
(The people last to leave were gone at 2:30 AM! )
