Please post any problems you believe to be caused from the upgrade performed this afternoon, i.e., something you weren't having problems with earlier today but now you are.

For premium members, the cyborg style is currently unavailable, but I will be wrking to restore this.

Sorry, this isn't a bug, but since you updated, and you are fixing stuff, can you possibly make it so you can actually use the top postbit option? SWF had it for a while, but I think last time you updated vBulletin, it screwed up. I figured now would be the best time to bring up this issue.

This honestly isn't an upgrade glitch, but last week I saw a suggestive "Flash" ad. It was something having to do Sony electronics "sleeping in bed together," I think.

I can't leave the Wii # blank either.

EDIT: And I just screwed myself.

The Wii # field was fixed. I just added the check to make sure you put in a valid Wii number last night, but I know it let me leave it blank before... guess it was the upgrade.

Should work now though.

Also, aren't signatures supposed to be disabled by default on quick reply?

BTW I'll look into the top postbit. It stopped working awhile ago and I could never figure out exactly why, and I know vB has changed a lot since then so the method to do it is way different. I'll check though.

Well, before the upgrade, I always noticed that sigs were always on by default as I posted the quick reply.

I confirm what Earthbound360 said, signatures were checked by default.

It'd be better if they weren't checked by default, since most quick replies are short thus the sig taking up a lot of space. Like above ^

If they were checked, all I can say is that they shouldn't have been. I know at some point in the past I disabled them, and I'm pretty sure they were off in the Back Room too.

mic's right, too many people post really short replies with quick reply and then don't take off their obnoxiously large sigs. And I know sigs should be invisible entirely in FG.

The check was off before the last upgrade, then when that happened they were on (i remember taking my sig off because of that), and now I don't know because I don't have one.

Yes, you can use the main reply screen and that will have your signature enabled by default. However, you're not supposed to have your signature enabled if you post is shorter than your signature length, and if you insist on adding your signature after each post you'll just frustrate a bunch of people and probably end up with an infraction. I don't recommend it.

Honestly, the rest of the world probably doesn't like your sig as much as you do.

Something small that I noticed is that when you search for members, and they don't show up (you searched wrong) then the "member does not exist" or whatever page looks different.

i like it when every post has their signature its easier to read smashboards and its easier to locate posts from certain people when you are scrolling through pages of 40 posts, epsilon pwns with his sigs, i was about to come in and say that the guy who posted above me made my sig, but i guess he took care of that already haha <3

EDIT: ok thats not right, i've pressed "Show my signature" the last 2 times i've posted and it hasn't even come up when i press reply.

i would like to know what the problem is with posting your sig with a message, regardless of how long it is...if you look on the first page in this topic, earthbound360 has a post without the sig, and 90% of it is just empty gray space (also happens with a few others)...whats wrong with filling it with your sig? i know for some people the sig goes below what the bottom of your posting box would normally be, and makes it take up more space, but for people that have a large 'location' and such, the area of the box for your posts is bigger. id rather be looking at whatever random pics the persons sig has than a big block of solid gray.

When a page is filled with one-liners and pictures, it is substantially harder to read than when filled with one-liners and gray text.

On the other hand, a sig at the end of a long, long block of text actually makes it easier. Funny how that works.

But in general, the policy is to keep things in check. If your post is smaller than your sig, than you need to turn off your sig. And yes, this is a warnable offense, and it does get enforced from time to time. Usually, though, a moderator will just edit your post to remove your sig.

*raises hand.* I got an infaction for it. Osco gave me one in the light house. It's only 1 point, and it lasts a week though.

i dont know if this even got mentinoed, i've actually been having trouble with the "show your signature" button, I almost always press it, but it doesn't always show on my posts, i'm pressing it now, so we shall see if it shows or not. Generally though it does not

Is it possible to get rid of the inteli-text on peoples names and other links(I've seen some on page links as well)?

Edit: Just to clarify, when i mean links I mean URLs. I'm not asking to remove the ads, only that they don't touch other things

Like so
It just makes it an inconvenience if you want to click on a link or forum member whose name happens to be an Ad.

Also could the color of the Ad be in a different color? The text kind of disappear in the black background.

I agree w/ Gimpy.. having ppl being able to post their sigs helps locate important posts.

Also, even if you press "Show your Sig" and press "quick reply" your sig doesn't show...

Good Day Sirs.

what are these spam bots ppl keep referring too?
It's an account created for the sole purpose of making topic to advertise. It's usually for some foreign website or porn.

Sorry I didn't ask about the sig thing here. I thought mine was revoked. ^_^ You can still get it to work if you go through advanced reply.

I was going to bring up the links problem but I see it was already brought up. I've been organizing a project and while editting and whatnot, I find myself clicking on ads simply because of a word like "Mario" or "Network" or whatever.
