It's not just any old Melee, it's a Meme Melee. Celebrating the many timeless and classic memes of all, this thread is dedicated the having them duke it out in all their glory. Featuring both the new and old, this thread is dedicated to making a Smash Bros Styled fighting game featuring everyone's favorite funny internet pictures and subjects. But this is no joke as even though the fighters are memes, the gameplay is played completely straight featuring a fully fleshed-out arcade mode, movie sets, bosses, items, and stages.

Unlike Onett, it doesn't have ground, so it had bottomless pits that if you walk into them, you get KOed.

For example, Shrek is associated with a meme while Scrimblo Bimblo is created as a meme. The job is to submit a character that originates from memes, i e a character created as a joke.

Chad is from a series of images called "Virgin vs. Chad" which feature "Virgin" doing things normally (such as avoiding bumping into other people and listening to music while walking) and being portrayed as a loser for it. While Chad does the exaggerated opposite of whatever Virgin does (Such as deliberately hitting people he passes and never having hear music in his life) and being portrayed as a cool role model. Recently this has evolved into a generic "bad vs. good" meme, but that doesn't give much to work with. With crazy feats of strength Chad strides into battle.

That's right! Wojak, the white guy that you guys know him from memes! He was created in 2010 by anonymous user on Krautchan. He is depicted as white drawn guy, who is also portraying anonymous or soyjak (The famous form).
He would have interesting moveset potential like he could be Mii Fighter of the game due to having an ability to be costumized by random costumes.

Shrek is love and Shrek is life. Nuff said.

Okay for real, Shrek is main Protagonist of self-titled movie series made by Dreamworks. He is an ogre, who doesn't like when someone invades his Swamp. He also befriended Donkey and saved princess Fiona (also turning her into ogre) and he had 3 children.
He has moveset potential, since he knows how to fight. Nuff said.

You sit in the backseat of the bus - extended to the normal length of a back seat. There is a ceiling above but no walls - the bus will occasionally pass by a rock wall on one side, which deals damage if you go into it but doesn't KO either.

Airport Jungle Juice

Takes the form of a standard liquid empty bin. When drank, it gives 1-3 random effects, such as:

• Increasing/decreasing a fighter's speed, damage, or weight
• Damaging or healing 10 to 15%
• Giving the fighter a menacing glow and glowing eyes... Which don't actually do anything on their own
• Giving a spicy curry effect
• Giving a fighters attacks fire, freezing, or electric properties

Stage: Grape Surgery

The stage takes place on top of the grape, fighters are shrunk down to fit. The top of the surgery tools act as stage platforms. The surgery tools could also act as hazards if you get in front of them during the operation.

Stage: Burger King Foot Lettuce

The stage takes place on the floor, lettuce containers, and the shoes. The lettuce however tries to swallow fighters up like quicksand. The shoes will occasionally stomp up and down from time to time, dealing massive damage and shoving anyone below into the lettuce. Fighters are also shrunken down for this stage as well.

He has moveset potential and he is considered as meme due to his iconic badass pose.

Television:

Peter Griffin is a star of Family Guy show and he is a dim-witted father that like to annoy his wife Lois. He is one of FOX icons and he deserves to be in Meme fighting game.
He has moveset potential, since he knows how to fight (As it was shown in various episodes, where he was fighting Ernie the Chicken or beating up random kids in Quahog).

Now here is the thing while being funny is important, these movesets need to be played completely straight so as to make them traditional and such and not out of place in a traditional smash character, you at least have to have specials and a final smash covered.
