Bayo Echo: Shantae

Another dancing, hair-wielding heroine, this half-genie is Ret-2-Go! She doesn't have Bullet Arts or Bat Within, but is a little heavier, more nimble, and harder to hit due to being shorter.

• Shantae's jab is a single ponytail whip. It's fairly easy to spam.
• Up tilt has Shantae whip her ponytail above her head. Decent juggling tool.
• All smash attacks are fancy, dance-like types of kicks.
• Neutral Special is Spitfire, with Shantae casting out a fireball similar to Sora's.
• Side Special is Monkey Bullet, which has Shantae transform into a monkey to dash forwards. Meant to be an analogue of Bayo's Side B.
• Up Special is Harpy Flight, where Shantae transforms into a harpy to fly straight upwards.
• Down Special is Transform, which is kinda like Hero's Command Select. Shantae begins dancing, being able to choose between three random animal transformations (though the pool for which can be selected is way less than Hero's spells). After using a transformation, there is a brief period where Shantae must wait for a cooldown before transforming again.

Bayo Stage: Sega Channel (resub)

Mr. G&W Stage: Sega Channel

The stage is a walkoff, with the Genesis serving as a soft platform. However, there is an addition to this screen - A large TV! Every so often, the off-screen player will select a new Sega Channel game to play, giving the TV a new look with platforms that players can interact with.

The platform is behind the titular Harrier as he flies through the level, shooting enemies that get in his path. Shots from the battle will fly into the stage so you'll need to avoid them.

Based on the Dreamcast menu as well as the general "Y2K aesthetic" of early 00s pop culture, the background has a giant Dreamcast logo and bubbles that reflect the battle. The bottom platform is a flat walkoff designed as if you're walking on water, but the platforms above are randomized - the catch is that the platforms begin invisible, and you have to reveal them by standing on them! The background will slowly shift between 3 colour schemes.

He doesn't have guns, so certain moves such as jab are swapped for more dancing moves. though he does have lasers equipped in his boots like Bayonetta so he can use a version of Bullet Climax. Of course, the Smash attacks use the legs from his boss fight. Down special is a lot different - he sends out his heart-shaped CORE and shoots a more standard multihit projectile from it.

A radial menu will pop up around Bayonetta and she can choose a lollipop to consume that will give her a buff for a limited time. Lollipops are charged periodically throughout the match by dealing damage and taking damage, You can only select a lollipop once it has been charged.

Ridley echo: Macro Ridley

OH LORD HE'S HUGE - specifically the size of the Ridley on the left. Would share alts with regular Ridley. He has Bowser's tough guy, but otherwise no stat changes since the size increase is both a buff and nerf in it's own right.

Ridley stage: Ghostzilla

This is a long stage with randomized platforms (buildings) - the platforms are all destructible, and are placed in front of the fighters, allowing for a proper kaiju battle! At least if you ignore the recording equipment and ghoulish director in the background. Helicopters will fly by, which can be hit, then picked up as items.

It's Capitalismin' Time! This stage has the permanent ink gimmick of Moray Towers, but unlike Moray Towers it doesn't have any ink if Inkling/their echo isn't in play. Shopping trolleys will spawn that you can hitch a ride in like the Great Cave Offensive minecarts. If they collide, any fighters inside will be KO'd instantly. I wonder if this stage, along with Duck Hunt's stage, is trying to tell us anything.

The infamously loud Ridley imposter, this X-Parasitic beast is larger than his "ancestor" and is generally stronger. However, his air jumps take a small hit in height due to his stubbier wings, with moves involving them being either reduced in hitbox size (Up Air) or changed altogether (Down Smash)

Inkling Spirit: Mighty Eagle

• Opponents: Small purple Inkling, giant white Falco
• Stage: Battlefield Cobalt Plateaus
• Music: Fight and Flight (AB2)
• Rules: Defeat Inkling to summon Falco. Falco is much stronger, has super armor, and is highly aggressive.

I might submit an Octo Expansion stage, but I like the idea for MakoMart too so I might save that for a future fighter.

Inkling back special: Splat Brella

A projectile reflector that infuses ink into every projectile thrown into it.

Ridley back special: Toxic Crush
A very tricky, slightly Rest-like command grab where Ridley crushes a foe's head in his jaws - this gives them a special ailment, infection, represented by their model becoming fungus-like (an effect similar to the Metal Box), which gives them Pichu-style damage for their next 4 hits - multihit moves count as multiple hits, but special moves don't count for either, expiration or damage.

Inkling AT: Two teams of Inklings splatter ink over the stage - doesn't cover the entire stage though. Walking on these makes the summoner and their teammates faster, and the opponents slower.

Ridley AT: Lunges into the screen at canon size in a somewhat jumpscare-y manner - any foe caught will be impaled by his tail in silhouette like his trailer - this does not insta-KO or deal any knockback but deals a mortifying 100 damage.

Inkling Special: Splat Charger

Similar to Byleth's Neutral B, but only has the charged variant + ink properties.

Ridley Special: Crushing Flight
A laggy command grab similar to WaWaWa's submission, but with a much different application. After grabbing the opponent, Ridley takes flight (although it's not very fast) with the opponent in his clutches, being able to perform one of four cargo throws: Most of them are basic tosses like you'd expect from DK's, but the down throw is a stall-and-fall "throw" which has Ridley slam his opponent into the ground (or into the blast zone). To avoid this move from being too busted, the opponent can still break free by mashing (which is more effective if Ridley is at higher percents). Also, Ridley's down cargo operates by the same anti-[character]cide rules as Bowser's Side B.

Ridley Spirit: Ruined Dragon

A projectile reflector that infuses ink into every projectile thrown into it.

Ridley back special: Toxic Crush
A very tricky, slightly Rest-like command grab where Ridley crushes a foe's head in his jaws - this gives them a special ailment, infection, represented by their model becoming fungus-like (an effect similar to the Metal Box), which gives them Pichu-style damage for their next 4 hits - multihit moves count as multiple hits, but special moves don't count for either, expiration or damage.

Inkling Special: Splat Charger

Similar to Byleth's Neutral B, but only has the charged variant + ink properties.

Ridley Special: Crushing Flight
A laggy command grab similar to WaWaWa's submission, but with a much different application. After grabbing the opponent, Ridley takes flight (although it's not very fast) with the opponent in his clutches, being able to perform one of four cargo throws: Most of them are basic tosses like you'd expect from DK's, but the down throw is a stall-and-fall "throw" which has Ridley slam his opponent into the ground (or into the blast zone). To avoid this move from being too busted, the opponent can still break free by mashing (which is more effective if Ridley is at higher percents). Also, Ridley's down cargo operates by the same anti-[character]cide rules as Bowser's Side B.
