PP Echo: Deku Baba

A little bigger and lighter, yet more agile. Moves involving a pot/pipe are changed due to the Baba's lack of one, but specials remain mostly the same (with a seed replacing the Ptooie spikeball and Up Special being more akin to Peach's).

Joker Echo: Violet

Violet isn't as mobile as Joker, but has better range on her attacks thanks to her rapier. Cendrillion is also present, working just like Arsene.

My Isabelle alts will be used. Joker's stage will be RED ZONE, Piranha Plant's stage will be the Forbidden Maze, and Joker's echo will be Violet
PP echo: Vintage 1998 Clear Plastic Protective Game Boy Game Pak Case for Protecting Original 1998 Game Boy Game Paks and Any Other Flat 5.8 by 6.5 CM or Smaller Products From Dust and Grime.

A true joke character, as it's name may indicate - this character is super weak and has no specials available. The advantage it has, however, is that it's super tiny (a little smaller than Pichu, even if not accurate-size) and super agile, with the slowest fall and fastest air speed of the entire roster as well as Jigglypuff-style jumps, and is also heavier than most fighters of this size and mobility - though this serves less to make the fighter good and more to make it playable. Additionally, moves such as up smash will move the V1998CPPGBGPCFPO1998GBGPAAOF58B65CMOSPFDAG to where PP's head would be instead of returning. All pot and leaf moves are swapped for bites. The "character" doesn't have much personality, having no taunts or idle animations, and just standing idly for the results screen. It's also got the best Final Smash in the game, encasing everyone in vintage 1989 clear plastic protective Game Boy Game Pak cases for protecting 1998 Game Boy Game Paks and any other flat 5.8. by 6.5 or smaller products from dust and grime, KOing them instantly, regardless of how close they are to the V1998CPPGBGPCFPO1998GBGPAAOF58B65CMOSPFDAG and what they're doing.

Please vote here for Piranha Plant's echo

Piranha Plant back special: Toxic Sludge
Plant eats any non-living projectile, and pukes out a puddle of toxic goop which makes foes slow when walking on it.

Joker Special: Wild Card
The iconic ability of all Persona protags! This takes the form of a lunging command grab - If Joker grabs an opponent, he'll mimic the "removing mask" animation from P5, after which the move becomes replaced with one of that fighter's specials (with a Persona-fied version of the fighter appearing to perform the move). Unlike Kirby, though, this won't always be the Neutral Special, so try and experiment with several moves! Taunts also won't remove the new move - To go back to the command grab, just input shield + B.

Joker AT
Pretty much a toned-down version of his Final Smash - While the screen goes red upon striking an opponent like usual, there isn't a cinematic, allowing the Phantom Thieves to strike their foe while the others continue fighting on their own.

Right, I forgot Petey Piranha is an enhanced spirit. But I think Piranha Plant should represent that spirit, its only fair.
Actually, on that note, I think if Piranha Plant was able to make it to base Ultimate, it would totally make sense to keep Petey Piranha as its own Spirit Battle separate from the Nipper Plant. Here was my idea for the battle itself: a reference to Petey’s boss battle in SSE.
  • Puppet Fighter: Giant :ultpiranha: (default colors)
  • CPU Allies: :ultpeach: (100HP) and Color 7 :ultzelda: (100HP)
  • Stage: :ps2: Ω (referencing Midair Stadium)
  • Music: Airship Theme - Super Mario Bros. 3
  • Stamina Battle: 150HP (since all bosses in SSE have regular health bars)
  • Conditions:
    • The enemy will suddenly have a Final Smash (referencing the cages Petey uses in his fight)
    • You lose if even one CPU ally is K.O.’d (referencing how you could only save one of the princesses by breaking the cage they’re trapped in)
    • The enemy has super armor but moves slowly

I don't allow Spirit submissions for characters that already have spirits in SSBU's base game. Additionally, if you want to submit a Spirit, you need to embed an image.

Deku Baba will be Piranha Plant's echo, my Plant AT and FazDude's Joker AT will be used

Hero echo: Heroine

For all the Heroine addicts in the audience. Has less RNG and is essentially a version of Hero more suited for serious/competitive play - command selection is intact, but certain moves are removed, and there's less cooldown - same MP percentage and usage though. The alts wouldn't have to match up 1-to-1 with Hero.

should've-been-master-chief echo: Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts

Any move where Banjo holds Kazooie is swapped for a wrench move, but Kazooie is out of the backpack at all times to compensate. Side special is essentially Steve's Minecart with a contraption (a command grab projectile you can ride), Down Special has them throw a Rammer Grunt Bot (bounces very high and fast, deals low damage but high knockback and despawns quickly, can friendly-fire however), Neutral Special uses a Mumbo Bombo to shoot a bomb (terrible range in both movement and explosion, but more powerful and faster to explode than Grenade Egg), and Up Special uses an ejector seat (goes higher than the shock pad and is generally better as a projectile and has the same non-vulnerability trait, but leaves Banjo vulnerable and doesn't fall until it reaches the peak of it's trajectory.). They have a tether grab. Overall more mobile but less powerful. Additionally, the jab is a three-hit with the wrench

Hero stage: Octagonia Tournament

This stage is a bit similar to the Dedede Arena stage we added, basically being an FD with short walls - however, these walls don't bounce, are a little taller, and the stage is overall longer (just slightly shorter than the 8 player variant for FD). There is a Smashville-style platform that will come in, but it comes from and goes to the blast zone and is quite rare.

Endless Battle

Battle Theme (Original)

Banjo stage: Madame Charmaine's Voodoo Shop

Based on the cult classic Xbox platformer Voodoo Vince, this stage has fighters shrunk to doll size and placed on a table in front of a glass ball. Every now and then, Vince himself will appear in the glass ball, and a Voodoo idol will appear for fighters to collect at a random point in the stage - collect the idol to become immune to Vince's cartoonish misfortune. If he gets crushed, you'll be spiked or grounded; if he's lit on fire, you'll get flower damage; if he farts, get ready for strong winds; so on.

Please link to 4 songs for your stage. I'll allow both, Others music and Banjo music for this submission since it counts as a crossover a la the Metroidvania stage.

Okay, this is the echo I've been talking about since the 64 fighters. Brace yourselves...

Banjo Echo: Brash & Expresso

Bigger, heavier, and stronger, too, most of Brash/Expresso's normal moves mirror those of Banjo fairly closely, barring Forward Smash (which would have Expresso perform an attack himself instead of Brash using him as a bludgeon). However, the duo's specials are fairly different, having Expresso turn into various animal buddies:
  • Neutral Special has Squawks spit out an arcing nut.
  • Side Special has Rambi (if grounded) or Enguarde (in the air) perform a dash straight forwards with their respective horns. While these dashes aren't as strong as the Wonderwing and have super armor rather than pure invincibility, they can be used as many times as you want.
  • Up Special has Rattly bounce upwards with Brash in tow, which goes higher than the Shock Spring Pad but lacks a projectile.
  • Down Special has Squitter shoot out a slow-travelling web which can immoblilize opponents.
  • Final Smash calls on the Queen Banana Bird.

Hero back special: Command Lock
Locks the last used ability into his command prompt, but also makes it cost more MP.

Banjo AT: Collectables from the Banjo games are scattered around the stage - they make their classic sound effects when walked over, so prepare for sheer bliss if you grew up on Banjo, or excruciating annoyance if you didn't. Banjo himself shows up of course, but doesn't do anything. These collectables don't despawn until they're collected, but also come in an especially high quantity thanks to being 2D images. Whoever collects the most when all have despawned will gain a size boost.

Banjo Special: Talon Torpedo

While this move from Banjo-Tooie could only be done underwater in its debut, it can be done anywhere here! The move is fairly similar to Blazing End in execution, with Kazooie rocketing forward and spinning while Banjo can move around freely. Unlike Pyra, though, Banjo can perform unique tilt attacks while Kazooie is out, includng the Pack Whack as a forward tilt. In addition, Kazooie will continue to move for a few seconds instead of idling at one distance, and even deals damage on the way back to Banjo. Both Kazooie's return and Banjo regaining his usual moveset happen pretty quickly, so try and set Kazooie up for some trap play!

Hero AT

Hero is summoned (It randomly chooses between the costumes) and will proceed to perform his down special, The Command selection menu appears above their head and will select one of the random commands that appear, Buffs are automatically applied to the summoner instead of hero and Hero's regular Specials are added to the list as well

Submit 8 alternate costumes for Hero!
These will add on to the existing alts, not replace them. For Hero, you can submit party members as well as protagonists.

Submit 8 alternate costumes for Banjo & Kazooie!

Submit 16 alternate costumes for Heroine!

Please include default. In this case, it's up to you which heroine is default

Submit 16 alternate costumes for Tooty and Dragon Kazooie!

Submit 10 locations for Rare Replay Gallery!

Since this submission was rather vague, I'll be doing a job to submit the locations in Rare Replay Gallery! You don't need to detail the layouts, but you do need to detail which specific location you take from each game. You can include games not in Rare Replay, and you don't have to include the locations namedropped in the submission. You can use the same game or series multiple times. Sabreman and Banjo-related locations are allowed, but not the Sabre Wulf forest or Spiral Mountain. You can add extra details if you want.

Rare Replay:
  1. Pinata Central (Viva Pinata)
  2. Poo Mountain (Conker’s Bad Fur Day)
  3. Football (Kinect Sports)
  4. Uncharted Island Cave (Sea of Thieves)
  5. LOGBOX 720 (Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts)
  6. Attic (Attic Attac) (not rendered as pixel graphics)
  7. Forest (Everwild)
  8. Ogre’s Swamp (Kameo) (you know why this is on my list)
  9. Turbo Tunnel (Battletoads)
  10. Teleportation Hub (Monster Max)
The stages would be presented as a very convincing stage play, on par with other stages in the game in presentation, with only subtle elements pointing towards it being fake (seams on walls, the occasional missing floor tile, etc), while all the character cameos are just cardboard cut outs of .pngs - with a rare (NPI) chance when starting the stage for every character to be Mr. Pants. The traveling platforms are the games' boxes (though the box of Conker: Live and Reloaded is used to transport you to Poo Mountain since it doesn't depict a beer pint, the much smaller cigar is edited out)

Banjo alts
  1. N64 Voxel - Banjo-Kazooie
  2. N64 Voxel - Diddy Kong Racing (original Kazooie model)
  3. "Square Bear" (Nuts & Bolts, uses the wrench for forward tilt)
  4. Square - Grey Banjo with pink clothes, pink Kazooie (based on Berri from Conker's Bad Fur Day)
  5. Square - Blue Banjo with red head and yellow skin, white Kazooie (based on Drumstick from Diddy Kong Racing)
  6. Square - light green Banjo with white spots, green Kazooie (based on algae-ridden zoo polar bears)
  7. Square - Horstachio patterns, yellow clothes
  8. Fat Square Bear
Heroine alts
  1. Bianca (uses the Siren Sword)
  2. White Bianca (based on her Wedding Dress)
  3. IV Heroine
  4. White IV Heroine (complimentary to Hero's alt)
  5. Female Erdrick
  6. White Erdrick (complimentary to Hero's alt)
  7. Builders Heroine (uses the Falcon Blade)
  8. Brown Builders Heroine
  9. X Heroine
  10. Purple X Heroine
  11. IX Heroine
  12. Pink clothes IX Heroine
  13. Ashlynn (uses the platinum sword)
  14. Green Ashlynn
  15. Red (uses the Uber Miracle Sword)
  16. Blue Red
I overestimated how many DQ games provide female character options when submitting this lmao

Terry stage: Geese Tower

Based on it's appearance in Fatal Fury: King of Fighters - a competitive stage with the layout of treetop lodge from Rivals. The front of the tower has been destroyed, so you don't have to worry about anything covering your field of view

Soy Sauce for Geese (Tekken 7)
Theme of Geese Howard (Wild Ambition)
The Last Blade, Determination in the Dawn
BIOS (Neo Geo Pocket Colour)

Byleth stage: Quiz and Dragons

Fitting for both, a teacher and a medieval lord, this Capcom deep cut is a gimmick stage - above each platform is a button you can hit to answer a question! The question is a HUD element, so you can read it at all times. The platforms each show an image of one of the OG game's player characters. These questions are based on different games represented in this version of Smash - however, if you're playing as a character from a series, it's questions won't show up, so there's no unfair advantage. Getting questions right will heal you, while getting them wrong will damage you, if you opt out of a question you'll get even more damage than if you got it wrong. Aesthetically, it replicates the source material with the corny griffin pattern.

Flatfields
Question 1A (Question 1C as Pinch variant)
Midnight Forest
Bungle in the Jungle Medley (TOP SECRET)

Byleth echo: Monster Hunter

Let's bring the conspiracy to life. Same stats and such as Byleth, so you can play Byleth without, you know, playing as Byleth.

Doom Slayer over Byleth

Sword Of The Creator moves are replaced with the Shotgun, They are all a bit slower than byleth because of it
Areadbhar Moves are replaced with the Rocket Launcher, they are more powerful, have much longer range but are way slower.
Amyr moves are replaced with the Super Shotgun
Failnaught moves are replaced with the Plasma Gun, they have much longer range because of it, but are slower
Grabs involve the doom blade.
Up Special is the Meathook, Functions the same, but Doom Slayer takes out the Super Shotgun and uses the meathook, this attack also lights enemies on fire.
Side Special is Chainsaw, It's the same as Byleth's current Side Special but he uses a chainsaw instead and it is a multi hit
Down Special, Ice Grenade, Doom Slayer shoots an ice grenade from their shoulder launcher. It freezes opponents and has a bit of start up and end lag
Final Smash, BFG, A Clone of Mewtwo's final smash but green and with the BFG.

Terry Stage
Esaka Construction Site

This stage would have 2 halves, the ground which is a typical walkoff and the Construction site which is various power lifters and steel beams being lifted above the stage

Goodbye Esaka - KOF 2000
NOW OR NEVER - KOF XV
Soy Sauce and a Dash of Sake for Geese - KOF XV
Stimulation - Capcom Vs. SNK 2: Mark Of The Millennium 2001
