Raid Events
This is a special event trigger able on several stages that has you fight increasingly difficult waves of Smash'n'Grab enemies, there is the standard wave mode where you and a freind try to defeat as many enemies as possible ala Multi Man Smash, but there are also limited time Raid Events themed around a species franchise or character that often has you fight against enemies from that specific franchise with a unique raid boss in the end. Something simple but fun in my opnion.

Hmmm… I’m going to say no since it feels more like a mode in the sense that it deviates from standard gameplay.

An alternative to trophies. Instead of collecting 3d models of various characters, the video archive would have collect old video tapes to play old video game trailers, commercials, and developer commentary. This would be a cool way of preserving vintage history in motion.

Now that we have a full list of IP holders working with us, we can start cracking down on stages. Please submit a stage from Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, Namco, Square Enix, Activision, or any of our indie partners. No limits on what the stage can be, but please include 1-8 music tracks.

Job 102: Submit custom moves for any fighter!
I won't prolong the thread to get every fighter a full suite of customs, but I wanted to dedicate a day to adding some! Please submit any number of custom moves for as many fighters as you want - Please note that each input will have a maximum of four different moves (the original move, plus three customs). I'm not sure how/if I'll handle a vote for this job, but we'll see once submissions start rolling in.

Stage: John Gutter (Pizza Tower)

This stage would take place in the level of the same name, specifically the city themed background. It is a rather roomy stage, with a lot of platforms to traverse through. However, this stage also has a gimmick; Once the timer reaches 1 minute or a fighter is on their last stock, certain platforms (indicated by John Blocks) give way as It's Pizza Time! begins to play.

Boxing Ring (Punch-Out!!!)

Boxing Ring is one of settings from Punch-Out!! video games, made by Nintendo and it's an arena where Little Mac fights opponents from different countries (like in his video games).

This stage is loosely based on major circuit arena from Punch-Out (Wii version).


The stage layout would be the same like before, but it's more detailed and referee makes a cameo (obviously the Wii one).


I submitting this stage, because I feel that "Boxing ring" titles are the coolest part of the stage and this stage would make sense to return for this game.
Despite Punch-Out being repped in form of assist character, I feel a stage wouldn't be bad addition.

A scrolling stage. The fight starts across a long steam train. When the fighters reach the locomotive, a platform based on the Tornado picks them up, raising them high into the desert sky where the Uber Catkiller attempts to knock them off. Once it rests, the fighters are lowered into the actual saloon, and then proceed to the theater, where the Heavy Magician turns into Bean, Bark and Fang before warping them back to the beginning.

As another Pokemon stage would be nice to have, I’ll renominate Goldenrod City
For the handheld stage, I’ll go with Goldenrod City from Pokemon Gold/Silver. It be like Saffron City, but the Magnet Train will appear, and you can stand on top of it before it moves to Saffron City.

The stage would be something like this seen above.

On the sides of the stage are also platforms that flank the central tower.

Periodically, water will fill up the arena, leaving only the top level of platforms accessible.

At some points, Morpho itself appears to attack the opponents.

    • Now has a wider range of angles, alongside an aiming reticle ala the Yoshi's Island games.

F-Type Moveset
  • Neutral - Burnout
    • The rear wheels spin violently, launching enemies straight back in direct contact, if not caught by the friction flames (similar to Bowser and Charizard's fire breath).
  • Side - Booster
    • F-Type becomes super fast and damages others on collision until B is released. Turning and braking is way trickier and hitting a wall ends this attack and slightly damages F-Type.
  • Up - Extension Launch
    • Similar to Car Yoshi in Yoshi's Island, F-Type launches up his body, followed by retracting his wheels. While retracting, F-Type doesn't flinch.
  • Down - Stunt Ramp
    • F-Type creates a small Stunt Ramp that he bounces off of, sending it sliding across the stage. If opponents are hit by the stunt ramp, they are knocked into the air. It travels twice as far as one of the Ice Climbers' Ice Shots, but at a slower rate. This allows F-Type to speed in for another attack.
  • Final Smash - Semi Truck (AKA Trailer)
    • Trailer appears from the background backing up, taking F-Type in before driving around running over opponents. Trailer itself has all the special moves as F-Type but lacks standard moves. Power is increased, but speed reduced. Trailer doesn't flinch and receives only 50% of the total damage it receives (F-Type is protected, but not fully, by ST's exteriour).

Neutral Special - Stun Spell-She'll cast a spell and stuns her opponents,the more she charges the longer they stay stunned

Side Special - Red-Her Staff turns back into Red and aids her until he gets hit which turns him back as a staff

Up Special - Broomstick-Her staff turns into a broomstick and flies off

Down Special - Poison Cloud-Based on her appearance as a Assist Trophy he'll summon a poison cloud and if any opponent,healing would go the opposite direction

Final Smash - Power Orbs-Based on Game & Wario, Ashley will bring a orb with a bolt on it and will summon a arcane circle on the stage and if any opponent is in the circle will be send flying with a powerful strike

Job 105:
Rex & Pyra (Xenoblade 2)

Rex is the main protagonist/playable character of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game, released in 2017 and he is a young 15 year-old Leftherian who embarks om adventure to escort Pyra to Elysium while protecting her from threats.
In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, at the end of the game, he married her, Mythra and Nia which in result he got 3 children from them.
At "Future redeemed" DLC, he is now adult who cares both blades and he teams up with Shulk to defeat Alvis.

Pyra is a second main character of the game and she is a first half of "Aegis" blade. She has a "fire" element and her second half is called "Mythra", whose element is "light" (Pyra is sweet and kind while Mythra is serious and brave).


They both are considered as 2 of most popular Xenoblade characters alongside Shulk, Melia and Noah. While Rex being the main character of XBC2, Pyra seems more recognizable character due to popularity among her fans and the fans of series.


When summoned, Rex would appear on the stage along with Pyra and he would start to do various moves on opponents:
1. Prominence revolt - Rex jumps into the air and slams straight at the ground, dealing big damage.
2. Blazing end - Rex throws her sword at opponents
3. Flame nova - Rex spins her blade around himself, dealing fire damage to opponents. He is also moving while attacking.

Whoops, I forgot that Mythra also joins Rex and Pyra...

The second half of the Aegis blade, Mythra is the supporting protagonist of the game and unlike Mythra, she is more serious and stronger than Pyra (also she cooks way worse than Pyra).
In Torna: the Golden country, when she was fighting with Malos, she destroyed the 3 titans with her siren (her robot).
Also she was the second main character of the prequel alongside Addam.
(Also her driver was Addam Origo)

She is also popular on the same level (if not higher) and many fans love her personality and design.


When you summon Rex & Pyra assist, she shows up with Rex instead of Pyra and does the following attacks:
1. Lightning buster - Mythra slashes the opponents in front of her.
2. Photon Edge - Rex dashes straight at enemies and slashes many times.
3. Ray of Punishment - Rex jumps into the air and shoots a green projectile at the players.


Also Rex & Pyra/Mythra assist is a KOable assist.


I feel that Xenoblade chronicles 2 should've been repped in the game in form of an assist since the first game was repped in form of fighter (Shulk) and stage (Eryth sea), then XBC2 should be repped in form of assist character.

Assist: Knuckles the Echidna (Sonic the Hedgehog)

Smash From Scratch & Knuckles.

When summoned, Knuckles glides forward while corkscrewing, dealing multiple hits of damage to opponents before launching them with the final hit. Upon landing after a successful attack, he chuckles before vanishing.

With Sonic and Eggman as fighters and Tails as an assist, Knuckles is the only member of the core Sonic quartet to be absent from SFS, so why not remedy that?

Discussion: Job Pacing
Now that the base roster is done, I've been thinking of how to retain thread activity once DLC begins. Right now, my thought is to having jobs for the base game run alongside DLC-based jobs - That way, in case you aren't interested in whatever DLC content we're working on, there's always an alternative job open. Would you like this approach, or would you like to continue working on the majority of base game content before beginning DLC?
