Diddy Moveset

• Neutral Special: Peanut Popguns
  • These now act more like Mewtwo's Pay Day functionality, being able to be rapid-fired at the cost of reduced range. However, the more you fire, the more end lag the move has.
• Side Special: Kong Kartwheel
  • This move acts a lot like how it does in the SNES DKCs - Diddy cartwheels forward, with him gaining momentum as he collides with opponents. He can also cancel it into a jump, allowing it to be used for recovery mix-ups.
• Up Special: Rocketbarrel Boost
  • Remains the same.
• Down Special: Simian Spring
  • Diddy uses his tail as a spring to bounce forward or backward, similarly to Sheik's Bouncing Fish. His jump can be canceled into an aerial or midair jump.
• Final Smash: Hyper Rocketbarrel
  • Same as Ultimate.

  • The new version is functionally closer to Meowth’s Pay Day attack, with the animation being based on DKC Returns and Tropical Freeze.
• Side Special: Kong Kartwheel
  • Diddy cartwheels forward, with increased momentum as he collides with opponents.
• Up Special: Rocketbarrel Boost
  • Remains the same.
• Down Special: Simian Spring
  • Diddy uses his tail as a spring to bounce upward, forward or backward.
• Final Smash: Rocketbarrel Barrage
  • Diddy moves left and right while shooting peanuts at the floor below himself.

I just got back into this game, and it really holds up. Plus, I find it kinda weird how we have no Mii stage yet.

Mainly choosing this one to contrast the Colosseum.

Third Party Stage: Space Invasion (Space Invaders)

Space Invaders as a fighter might be a hard sell given how they're already an Assist, but I do want to try and give them a stage. The barriers serve as soft platforms, which can be destroyed by Space Invaders near the top blast zone.

From TOTK. Fight on the island as it floats above Hyryle. A large stage, you fight in front of the stone temple with plenty of recognizable landmarks from the hit game. Its all about knocking your opponents off and through the sky.

Another long awated stage inclusion. Takes place inside a game of Tetris as blocks fall down and clear.
