I edited it a bit as there was grammatical errors and mispellings. Please keep in mind that while you did give the character a lot of unique abilities and attacks, Glubbfubb , the character can only have a few of them of them which need to correlate between all three modes. This means making the Self-Patching and Combo Crafting work in the Party Brawl mode. It should work alright in the other two modes for now though.Abilities
Name Pin: The Crafty Mech-Pilor
Universe Craftropilis: A world of fabric, giant killer toys, and of course an evil dictatorship ran by a group of evil scalpers Gender Female Age Non-applicable (how can you tell the age of a living doll) Height 1-Foot Weight 1/2 Pound Weapon of Choice Ted-2: A mech made out of the various parts of stuffed animals and toys, including a firecracker bazooka arm, a rail gun that shoots checkers pieces, and an RC Car acting as the wheels, with of course a Teddy Bear head acting as the cockpit. Secondary Weapon A personal squirt gun that can shoot both water, baking soda+vinegar, lemon juice, chocolate milk, and hot sauce Abilities Combo Crafting: Can take various items scattered around the map and combines them into various combo weapons (think Frank West's combo weapons), these combo weapons can be used as extra parts for Ted-2, or as personal melee weapons.
Self Patching: Can heal herself using scraps from her surroundings. This can also augment certain stats such as using metal objects for better defense and feathers for increased agility.
Smallness: Is small in size and so can fit in small spaces, but that requires getting out of Ted-2.
Backstory
Description Pin true to her name is made out of various patchwork. Of course she has a button for her left eye and a googly eye for her right eye, she has a mouth hole stiched up with string (think of something like Squigly from Skullgirls) with pins acting as dimples of sorts. She has a jumpsuit/dress of sorts made from red and dark pink construction paper resembling little red riding hood, her left hand is a fishing hook and her right hand is a pair of few strands of yellow yarn acting as a hook and hand combo. For feet she has a pair of push pins, left one is red and right one is blue, acting as feets with bottle caps acting as shoes. She also has a pair of swimming goggles on when piloting Ted-2
Ted-2 as previously stated is made out of various toys and stuffed animals. Of course there is the teddy bear head, which is inverted and the mouth part is replaced with a cockpit made out of a nutcracker head. Its left arm is a firecracker launch, its right arm is a Nintendo Ultra-Hand, and has a an RC Car as the tank treads. Finally it has hidden Slinky toys acting as a makeshift jumping program and escape pod.Backstory Pin was going to be a star, she was part of a hot new line of dolls with virtual integration to allow for deeper interaction with her child. However what she didn't expect was that a dirty team of scalpers collected the entire stock of dolls and other popular toys and converted them into their own evil army of killer toys. What she also didn't expect was that she was going to be the testing dummy for this army with the repeated experimentation on her heavily damaging her body. Luckily being connected to the internet has its benefits and she taught herself the magic of DIY needlepoint. Soon, she built a new body for herself out of crafting materials and soon had bigger plans. Using defectives parts she built a mech suit for herself called the Ted-2 to survive this conquered world. She later became known as "The Scrappy", a feared moniker for her enemies. While Pin may have lost her original purpose, she now has a new purpose defeating the evil scalpers and saving her dimensions from their world of evil DIY. However the scalpers were clever and with a combination of ginger ale, egg timers, and strange stones, banished Pin from her world. Overtime the toys rebelled from their scalper leaders and created a new world made from patchwork and crafting tools all led by a dictatorships of evil chess pieces led by their king and queen Chex and Malt respectivly. Pin meanwhile was trapped between time and space and drift though there unconscious until the events of the game. Personality Pin is like her namesake, sharp and quick witted. Being originally broken in pieces and not broken her physic and her sharp tounge is as savage as the mech she pilots. Still she is quite clingy as well; wanting nothing more than to have someone to be her close friend like the child she was going to be owned by, especially in these lonely times. However, like the DIY stuff she is made of, she can be scatterebrained and awkward around other people when its gets personal. Still, she is in the right place and is generally a nice and heroic person. Inclusion Like this thread, Pin is made of various parts, but these parts somehow work together which is something we should stride for in a multimedia crossover like this. She is also extremely marketable being considered cute to the girls and cool to the boys. Plus, the possibilities of her crafting concept would work wonders in gameplay in all styles.
That being said, we will be working on our first location. Each character will have their own base location that’s featured in all Realms but we are including one “hub realm” that is representative of the game itself rather than just one character.
So I guess these two bits confuse me and seem like they're contradicting one another. Is this going to be a hub realm where you can rest up between going to the other ones? Or is this simply a hub world that appears in all of the realms, with nothing in common other than the basic layout? Please be as descriptive as possible while highlighting a bit on how they stage would look in all three available realms.
As for Pin to use her crafting system in Smash I think rather than turning materials into new weapons, she could instead use other items to augment the weapons, like for example giving a gun more ammo by combining it with a healing item or giving it a stronger range by combining it with another gun, if you combine two elemental weapons you could alsi combine the effects like combining a fire item with a laser pistol to create a fire pistol. Self-Patching could work by absorbing the item and that item will add to her stats in a similiar way to Shulk's Manado.Based on the above poll, Pin will be out very first character and the one who will represent the game! Please check this out again to get an idea of who we will be including:

Here are my thoughts on this character and how to make her work. She is constantly in the Mech but, to avoid allusions of D.Eva, Pin is unable to leave the mech during a match. UNLESS we allow her to ditch the Mech and able to traverse on her own and use it as a teleportation mechanic but that seems a bit too difficult to do within all realms.
Weapon of Choice: Checker Launch (maybe called Check Mate?)
Secondary Weapon: Firecracker Arm (both a melee and a hevay projectile attack)
Passive Ability: Combo Crafting (We have yet to settle what sort of items can be found in the game but this would be rather difficult in Smashcore unless she has a Mining ability like Steve)
Attack #1: Squirt Gun
Attack #2: Self-Patch
Attack #3: -
Ultimate Attack: -
This is just my general take on Pin. We will continue to submit a location but will transition to discussion of Pin's abilities and attacks and how they can translate to each mode without tacking on new attacks all willy-nilly like.
Sorry if it was confusing. Basically, a location not tied to a character. So I guess these two bits confuse me and seem like they're contradicting one another. I personally think we should go with the first since we still have no idea what any of the realms will look like yet. I have an idea in mind for a centralized location such as that.

Cosmic Cube City (CCC for short)
This location is a realm between universes. A place where space and time folded onto themselves and formed compact cubes. Each cube holds a window into each dimension of the multiverse and coming from these cubes are panels of various major beings who live in these universes. These plaques could act as trophies in this universe but only 2D images instead of 3D models. While normally separate from one another, when one universal cube bumps into another cube items from both universes become swapped with each other scrambling the two in the process. To prevent this from happening, a race of robotic people created fences to keep the cubes in place and prevent cosmic bumping. From that came a city of fittingly cube-shaped buildings.
As a Smash styled stage it would act as the Battlefield, with a flat structure made of smaller cubes and three panels acting as platforms. Unlike Battlefield, the robots tending the stage can shift and move the platforms like in Smashville, adding some platforming peril.
As a shooter stage, it would be square in shape, featuring straight corridors and tunnels with the robot people acting as footsoilders, repairing any damage to these buildings. They can be allies or enemies based on the scenario, using welding equipment as weapons.
As a dungeon while it would once again be pretty basic in structure, the fact that each cube holds a universe is used more to its advantage as enemies and obstacles from other universes can spill into this stage, pretty much making this a little bit of everything.
Self-Patching could work by absorbing the item and that item will add to her stats in a similiar way to Shulk's Manado.
Stage Idea: Blankspace
Smash-Style: A white void with a missing texture sky
Shooter-Style:Same as Smash style but 3D and blank pillars will shoot out
Dungeon Style:The dungeon will look blank(easy for finding items) but look outside and there will be missing textures
Please use the thread poll to vote. Here's my idea: The Town. Basically a location which has a layout inspired by the city in the background of SSBU's victory screen.
Shooter: High tech with obvious human-shaped cover spots, but the electricity is mostly gone and many skyscrapers have crashed or are on fire.
Platfighter: A town centered on competition with lots of arenas and posters and whatnot, but it's deserted and broken items litter the streets, as well as floating platforms either struggling to stay hovering or have fallen to the ground.
Dungeon Crawler: Filled with beautiful, historic, and potentially religious crypts, tombs, and dungeons, but years of vandalism and general mistreatment have led to these majestic landmarks being practically ruined.
While The Town may seem ruined beyond repair, the further you progress in the game you'll be able to fix and upgrade The Town which opens up new things to do in it.
I still think this is a bit to quirky and far to utilize within our current genres as well as potential future genres. Taking an item and converting it to an attack sounds a bit to excessive. I mean, how would she utilize a weapon and craft a weapon? We would need to figure out the mechanics for this for EVERY genre we add.As for Pin to use her crafting system in Smash I think rather than turning materials into new weapons, she could instead use other items to augment the weapons, like for example giving a gun more ammo by combining it with a healing item or giving it a stronger range by combining it with another gun, if you combine two elemental weapons you could alsi combine the effects like combining a fire item with a laser pistol to create a fire pistol. Self-Patching could work by absorbing the item and that item will add to her stats in a similiar way to Shulk's Manado.
Just so we have some clarification, what is confusing? This helps us iron out any issues.I just find it really confusing so that's why I haven't submitted anything yet. Sorry.
Just bosses.Question: Should the enemies and bosses have intro cutscenes similar to what Skylanders Swap Force did?
This was exactly what I pictures Pin's stage to be likeHere's my submissions:
Patchwork Paradise
This is the headquarters for Pin as she goes against the evil scalpers that destroyed her life. Using various toys, dolls, and other items, she patched together this bastion of toy rights. Large teddy bears, enlarged toy blocks, jack in the boxes, marching toy soldiers, and more litter the place as well as a surgeon's table and toy medical equipment to perform experiemnts on other toys. There is also a body shop to work on Ted 2.0 and other inventions.
Warlord
The arena is build in the shape of a circle to reference a ball. It's a mostly open location with three raised platforms on three "corners" of the circle. These platforms are three tiers each and large enough have various buildings and other objects. While you can jump or climb up these tiers, there are Jack-in-the-Box springs to launch you into them. Several key locations are:
Cryptfiend
- Pin's Laborartory (various dissected toys can be found here)
- Ted Junkyard (Were failed Ted models are scrapped)
- Body Shop (Were Ted 2.0 is repaired and modified)
- Doll House (where Pin keeps dolls to replace her own body parts when damaged)
It is similiar in design to Warlord but expands out to the locations outside of this area which includes the following:
A Doll Graveyard (where dolls who fought for Pin's cause are burided)
X-Mas Tree Frame Grove (a grove of christmas trees who lost thier needles and just a metal frame)
The Pools of Molden Sugar (pools of molten sugar where Pin torrtures scalpers)
The story for Cryptfiend is that a mysterious parasite from an infected toy has caused all of her creations to rise up against Pin; this inlcudes her comrades in arms which leads to them trying to take over the headquarters. Venture in with a team of Realmers to pushback the toyish horde and defeat the boss.
Some enemies includes:
The final boss is...
- Spider Doll (A doll head placed on a mechanical spider body)
- Insane Puppet (An insane puppet that walks on it's own)
- Infected Doll (a generic enemy that comes in five different varities: Scrapper (a melee unit), Toothpicker (wields a gigantic metal toothpick), Cracker (launches firecrackers as a projectile), Big Baby (A large hulking doll), and Diaperer (lobs dirty diapers)
- Toy Soldiers: Green army men that fires real bullets
- Sonicboom Monkey: A windup Monmkey toy that uses cymbals to create sonic booms.
Smashcore
- Ted 1.0 (An older and obsolete version of Ted 2.0 that, after being infected, woke up and start building upon itself by adding various features to its body)
This is a large stage that emulates both modes above with the outer locations visible in the background. The stag eis set up a bit like Elden Bridge with two tiered towers that branch together with a destoyable wooden block bridge. You can go down to the first floor of these towers. The stage doesn't have any gimmicks excpet for TOY Time which will be expanded down below...
TOY Time (Toys to Overpower YEET) Time. There is a switch in three locations for both Warlord and Cryptfiend and one in Smashcore that, when placed, causes toys strapped with explosives to rain down onto the battlefield. This was designed as a failsafe program by Pin to prevent someone from taking over th ebase. This damages EVERYONE in the base.
For the attacks, you can place it in the Abilities section at the top.Abilities

Description | Elvenking is a mad of golden hair and elven features such as a lithe frame, pointed ears, and sharp lavender colored eyes. His hair is long and braided in the back. Due to the amount of battles he has been in, he has a scar above his eye and cleaves and ends right above his right eye. He also has a small scar on the side of his neck which is an Elven rune - the family rune of his best friend who died in battle many years ago. He wears a white and emerald green armored tunic typical of high elven fashion complete with a forest greep cape. |
Backstory | Elvenknight doesn't have name. Just a title. He was made an Elvenknight byt the High King when he was just a youngster, age 800. Since then, he has protected his kingdom from the attacks of the Orc sof Orcbrand, the Dark Elves of Nightraven Peak, the demon-folk of the Netherpit, and even civil wars. Regardless of the conflict, he fights for the betterment of his kingdom. He will give his life if need be to see nothing bad happens to it. The High King was set to relinquish the throne and intended to hand it down to his eldest son but, on the day of the coronation, one of his ******* sons who once sought the throne and created a rebellion, came back to claim the throne. Learning from past mistakes, instead of bringing a smalla rmy, he came in with an unified orc, dark elf, and demon army. They ranscaked the throne and put everyone to the sword. Just as the Elven King was about to be slain by his son, the Elvenknight felt himself magically be removed from his universe. He couldn't protect his kingdom nor his king. He sought them die but couldn't do anything about it. Perhaps, maybe, just maybe he can return somehow and right the wrongs and revenge the loss of his kingdom and king. |
Personality | Unlike Pin who is more of an anti-hero, Elvenknight is a dry cut hero archetype. He does (or tries to do) everything right. While his personality might seem shallow, he obviosuly harbors great doubt due to the loss of his kingdom which he could have prevented so he is also a man of great sorrow and pain,. |
Inclusion | Elvenknight is a sort of an answer to the Pin submission as I felt a morally strong and hero-like character to be more apporpriate to balance out our roster. I chose the elf because, I mean, elves are known for having distinguishable features and being brave. |
Sorta, yeah, maybe a little more cartoony but that is a good design
