I figured Pokémon could use a representative from its newest (at the time) generation, and I'm certain that just like in the timeline of the canon Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Game Freak is going to want to keep promoting this Pokémon after their immensely popular debut in the 8th movie. Speaking of which, the movie released in 2005 in Japan, so it counts on that front as well.

Instead of doing another job next, I’d like to have a check-in with this thread. Here are some things that I’d like to see addressed on this thread:

• What do you like the format of this thread, and how can I improve it?
• What do you like about the playable roster, and who do hope to see join the roster?
• What do you like about the stages/items/game modes, and what would you like to see?

• i think the thread format is good, not much to add besides that.

• do like seeing some characters make it in now like midna & sami whos chances are fairly lower later on. Some verterans like peach & zelda feel missing as well as a fire emblem & suprise &/or retro rep. Feel like golden sun (probably isaac) feels like a good choice as well.

• Not much to say with about the rest, i mainly am interested in stage & assist jobs & i like seeing mesh of stuff we continue to come up with between actual smash & new/different ideas.

• Definitely rooting for DeMille from Tomato Adventure.
• Nothing to add about stages/items/game modes (except for maybe asking for a Volleyball mode, like what Melee’s Akaneia build has)
