Shadow seems likely but I would like to see Metal Sonic. Or Super sonic he was fun In SSF.

I also don’t think Tails should be an echo maybe a simi as he should be able to fly. Same for Kunckles with his glide. But gliding would have to return or be unque to Knuckles.

I don't think there's a viable echo here.

For Olimar, I think it'd be interesting if the other Captains of the game were even in as alt costumes. I can't think of a totally different character who'd work as an echo beyond promoting Alph or Louie.

I mean, I'd love to continue discussing potential echo choices (got some ideas for Duck Hunt if it hasn't been done yet), but I understand the direct saying "lol, no more echoes." I think keeping this around just to theorize what could've been is perfectly fine!

That's alright. Take your time. I was only asking because that last direct seemed pretty clear on no more echoes, not because of scheduling. Everything happens in it's own time.

To be fair they said no echoes in the fighter pass, doesn't mean we can't have more echoes later on after it's done if dlc does continue. Though I think if there were any more echoes they wanted to add they would've done it so I don't really expect any more

I don't think there's really a good one for Olimar. Each of the other captains would work best as costumes in my eyes.

For Lucario, there may be some bodyshape issues, but there are Zoroark and Zeraora. At least those were the ones originally planned to copy Lucario's hype...

I voted for Alph. Considering that apparently the first two echoes were first alternate skins, it makes more sense for him.

Lucario would be an interesting character for an echo. I could have seen them removing the aura mechanic much like how Lucina doesn't have the Tip mechanic of Marth. I'm going to nominate Infernape.

I chose Louie, though he'd probably work best as either an alt costume or as a semi-clone similar to Falco/Lucas/Isabelle where Louie would use the creatures on PNF-404.

Lucario is an interesting one. If we're sticking to Pokemon then I'd say either Blaziken (Whom I feel like I keep on nominating for an echo) or Medicham. However if we're looking beyond Pokemon, then there could be a way- if you squint hard enough- that you could use a similar character in a fighting game to be a Lucario echo. There are a few from Street Fighter, but we already have two Street fighter characters. Instead I'm throwing in Raiden- God of Thunder and Lightning from Mortal Kombat (Music cue)- or maybe one Marshall Law from Tekken? OK, I'm loosing a bit of what echoes are, but it's something to think about.
