Please don't. Honestly, not all characters will have a worthwhile option, so having a the choice to say none is still a fair vote.

I don't really see a good one for Mario, but there are definitely good ones for others. We should absolutely keep the option for 'none'

For DK, I tihnk that Funky and Chunky could be good ideas.

For Link... maybe Linkle? IDK with the new BotW design there's not a whole lot you can do.

Maybe Brawl/Twilight Princess Link could be an echo since they have some differences (bombs, boomerang, etc.) Aside from that I can't think of an echo for Link.

Funky's the best option, but I really really would like to see the Chunk.

For Link, there's also the option of looking at his various other forms. Zora Link could even work - it'd be a bit awkward, but the zora are noted to be archers (though not shown) in OoT, he uses a fin as a shield in MM, and of course the boomerang fins in MM. Just toss in a TP water bomb, and you're...almost...good.

Also Urbosa's got a sword and shield, so she may work in a pinch as well.

Yes! Considering everyone's getting a Dark echo, Dark Link is a must. He is recurring.

Also TP's Hero's Shade is a great idea as well. Maybe give him Link's old kit with the left-handedness and the normal bombs (but would that make him a YL echo?

If it's the polls, you can try making polls and linking them from SurveyMonkey or something similar, or just announce the options each day and we can all vote by responding in the thread itself and then count them up afterwards.
