So how's things going here. Anyone play some good game recently?
Play Valkyria Chronicles and Hyperdimension Neptunia a bit today.

I had really poured a lot of time into the latter during the holidays. Too bad, my hard disk died and along with it all my progress. Starting anew is a bit painful in a grind-heavy game like Neptunia.

Well, I've been playing more of DBZ Extreme Butoden. Pretty fun game, with great sprite work put into it. Though it's a bit hard to online matches. Though the game is niche as it is, so that's to be expected.

College is fun. Said no one ever but me.
It's busy, but at least I'm no longer sitting on the couch trying to pass the time with YTPs.
Also, new role hype.

There's one thing I can scratch off my bucket list. And a good way to end this chapter of my voice acting trek. Gotta focus on my studies, memorize everyone's names.... and keep wrecking everyone on my campus at Sm4sh.
(There is one guy in both my Musical Theatre and Choir classes I ran into, though. He's really good, and we became friends pretty fast. )

It was kinda tedious in the end but it was worth it.

I've been playing some Mario Kart 8 online races for a few days now, as I'm taking a break from completing my 3DS and Wii U backlog. But other than that, nothing much.

Well, tomorrow is the time I start focusing on classes until the winter days. And you know what that means? I won't be around as often. Wish me luck, b o i z! :4sonic:

Also, I finally went to early voting a day or two ago! Remember, please #VoteBlue so we can get those GOP folks out of the White House. We're gonna need it.

That's all I can do, unfortunately. No credit card and no Paypal.
I have Paypal but no money in it...
And about your avatar's title, yeah Kanji is hard to learn.
Like it took me years just to learn how to write "turtle" in Chinese right:

I also have to go back to college as well, starting my second year. This is the time when I need to question myself: What should I focus in college?

That's pretty complicated... God help the Biology students there.

That said, I have been doing steady progress with my Kanji studies - already memorised 300 of them, which is a big deal for me as last time I had given up at only around 120.

Actually I do. I just don't know why he left.

I don't know who that is, but kind of odd that he left... I can just hope he can have a good life.

I don't really count on how many Kanjis I use of course. Since Kanji= Chinese.
Total Chinese characters is unknown. Some say it's around 3300, some say it's 9353. Or 12824, or 13734, or 16917. The "Main Chinese Dictionary" is said to have 85000 characters...

However, if I have to know the entire of those characters vowels and meanings. I think I'll just better kill myself. Most of those characters are rarely usable in modern Chinese.
Common used Chinese characters according to our Ministry of Education is about 4,808. Combine Semi-used are around 6341.
An average 10 year old kid should know at least 700~800 characters
I should know at least 3500~4000 characters

And again, I am talking about Chinese, not Japanese. You don't really need to know a lot of Kanjis. Still, the reason why I put this up is because the Japanese's Kana is actually originated from Chinese.

Urgh, the pic won't load, just check out this link:

3500~4000 characters is a lot... On the positive side, it is very efficient. You can write a lot more in Twitter's 140 characters. Like "Country" is 7 characters, "देश" takes 3 characters, while 國 is 1 character.

Some of the origins are pretty odd (likeう coming from he symbol for character itself 字), others make sense (ミcoming from 三, as Mi is how 三 is pronounced in Chinese.)

Let's see among the top used characters, I know Not bad for a beginner. (Included 國 because I know the simplified form 国)

I'll be honest, when I read the new title for the thread, I just started crying.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is one of the best movies of all time. I had so many good memories watching it.

Holy crap this episode tho.

1. RIP Ruruka, no one will miss you.

2. Juzo please, if you throw her down the pit, you will be my most favourite character in DR3.

3. RIP Kizakura, you will most definitely be missed ;_;

4. Please don't let this theory be true ;_; https://www.reddit.com/r/danganronpa/comments/50773l/about_aoi/
And tbh, I got the feeling Togami wasn't going to die and now I really don't want either way to happen :ohwell:

Not really. Typing Chinese is kind of annoying, I have to press Shift+Enter to go to Chinese mode and type with Zhuyingfuhao system (Only Taiwanese use this system). And "Country" technically is not just 國, it's 國家 (國=Nation, 家=Home, makes sense right?)
Not gonna lie though typing Chinese does save characters on Twitter, but Twitter isn't popular in Chinese speaking world.

Also I don't really know why did Japanese choose those words. And no 三 isn't pronounced as "Mi" in Chinese. It's "San". Which mean…three. Japanese "three "coincidentally also pronounce "San"
And as you notice, 三 has three strokes, that's it's origin, ftom the basic three stroke from ancient times. 二 (Two/second) has two strokes. 一(one/first), too obvious.

And yeah. Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau use tradtional Chinese. China and the rest of the world use Simple Chinese. Which no offense looks ugly in my opinion. And hard to tell meaning when they get too simplified.

But nonetheless, you think it's efficient for me to type Chinese. I actually hate typing Chinese. I have to type in a zhuying of a word I want and find it. Chances are I might forgot what the word looks like or forgot it's pronouncing.

I see. I didn't realise the complication of typing in Chinese.
And my bad. Mi is the kunyomi reading of 三 (That confused me.)

Simplified Chinese was an attempt to raise the literacy rate, so they really reduced the number of strokes in a lot of characters. Although this means the origin of many characters is much more obscured.

Anyway, thanks for talking about it. I learnt quite a lot.

Boy. Having to wake up at 5:30 in the morning for an 8:00 class sounded like a huge pain in the neck at first, but I think with insomnia being less of a problem for me nowadays, I could get used to this.

I just realized we're on page 24
Feels good man :denzel:
24 you say?

And tbh, I got the feeling Togami wasn't going to die and now I really don't want either way to happen :ohwell:
1. What do you mean? She's going to be a survivor, mark my words. No point in killing her off by the traitor with that NG Code and she's the last new DR3 who's still alive.
2. Juzo is indeed pretty great, even though he has no redeemable qualities at all. Yet.
3. I thought it was pretty obvious he was gonna die after last Despair episode but it was a good way to go and to remove all suspicion of him as he was really suspicious for not doing anything.
4. That's... an interesting theory actually. Makes my theory of when Munakata said 'despair' he was talking about Aoi instead of Makoto a little more believable.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kyoko was the traitor instead who got a bit of the Junko AI in her when she went into the Neo World Program.

And Togami surely got some death flags raised for him, huh?
'As long as I'm around, you'll be safe.'
'One of the DR1 survivors is going to die thanks to Naegi.'
'I think everyone outside is safe.'

He's probably still alive, though. None of the cliffhangers so far meant what they want us to think they mean.

Well now I did. I have 5 new types.

Alien and Sound originally. Now joined by Wind, Light and Aura.
Aura? I hope you're not solely creating that for Riolu and Lucario.
