Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Okay. I'mma be real here. I'd like this to be real for one particular reason.

Look at that. It's so organized (Ultimate newcomers all on the same row!) and as I've mentioned before, I have a strange fixation organization in character select screens.

There’s no ****ing way this is real. It’s too damn good to be true. Too damn good. Why the **** did I check Smash news now? I got a test in the morning and it’s 3 am right now. Now I’ll never be able to focus.

Although I'm not one for believing this stuff, I'd love it to be real - Isaac, Geno, Banjo & Kazooie? All revealed together in a possible final direct and curveballs like the Chorus Men rising from the grave and Mach Rider...

This is gonna be an interesting speculation time. Now stop procrastinating and get back to homework.

So, points against the leak:
  1. No Inceneroar. Verge has a very good track record for this game.
  2. VERY blurry.
Points for the leak:
  1. Multiple new character artworks
  2. Random maneuvering of other characters a la usual when a character is announced
  3. Possible link to a Graphic Designer?
  4. Marketing Instructions
Did I miss anything?

I don't know. I'm still gonna say it's fake so I don't get my hopes up but goddamn I want this to be real.

Kinda sad I won't be getting Inceneroar if it's real but I'll be getting a lot more in his stead.

I'd argue going strongly against the implications for remaining character reveals from Sakurai could be considered a con, although he could be pulling our legs and be the absolute god of a madman he is.

Destroying box theory is a pro

Mach Rider has more moveset potential. His (or her) design allows for the team to be creative, too. My most wanted retro rep, certainly. I don't need Excitebiker when there's Wario.
That toy, other than sharing the same name, definitely doesn't look like the same character. No knife, no gun.

I think you may be having a placebo effect here, mate. You want something to be there so you see there's something there. I see absolutely nothing but I dunno. I guess it could possibly be Kos-Mos... maybe.

Even if this leak isn't real there's always a chance that Vergeben is wrong, it's really small, but the nature of gradually receiving information in the way he has done means that there are quite a few things that can go wrong down the line.

I'm not really buying into this whole thing yet mind you, and I'd still be massively surprised if Incineroar isn't in, but the chance is there.

Mach Rider doesn't use the Melee trophy design. Does anyone think that has an impact on the leak or no?
