This roster is going to be huge with all the echoes I'm so excited.

Is Chrom an Ike echo or a Roy echo? I'm asking because he's beside Roy on the Smashdown CSS, even though he has Aether. Are echoes not as 1:1 as we thought?

Is he just an Echo of no particular character but of Fire Emblem itself? Let's count here:

- Ike's up special

Wow and here I expected only about three characters to be revealed, but we ended up with a whopping five instead. Congrats to all the supporters of those characters.

Also my condolence to those who got disconfirmed, but at least they made it into the game and received some acknowledgement. Especially Shovel Knight.

We got 3 new villains, I think this breaks the record of the smash with more villains... I just hope we can get a villain for Ness and for Falcon, after that introduction of the K. Rool trailer.

So that direct taught us a few things about fighters in the game:

1. Echo fighters seem to be a bigger deal than most thought
2. Third Party fighters can receive echo fighters
3. Vergeben only got Simon right (and only partly)
4. KING K. ROOL IS IN SMASH BABY!!!!!!!

Mysterious new mode and the fact that everyone will be shown off before release suggest that there is going to be another Smash direct.

I feel like K. Rool and Ridley being in the game ups Geno's odds. I know they have nothing to do with each other, but those 3 are like, the last holdovers as far as characters that people got really hype for back in the Brawl days go, and going through Rare to get the rights to K. Rool means they'd likely be willing to do the same for Geno. I'm stoked.
