Lol I'm 20 and you'll never catch me getting nostalgia for Minecreft of all games. Even when brawl came out out i would have hated to see Steve as a playable fighter
For how much i hear from Polarpanda's end, as DaybreakHorizon

This is the most disappointing thing about the game for me. I can't play through Classic with E or PSY, and that's just sad.
It's not like I've imported them into the game yet though. I want to unlock the "default" set from WoL for Brawler and Gunner before I import all my Miis. Really excited to mess around with Brawler's new moves.

The fact that Miis don't even get like a collective classic mode is kind of weird to me. Maybe they could make it avatar themed or something and have all the opponents be characters that could be customized in their home games or maybe have them all be miis dressed as various characters and have it be an impostor classic run
My guess is because is that she as well as Bayonetta some of the last unlocks because they were considered powerful enough to potentially escape Galleem's attack.

Speaking of that I have had a few harder fights in that mode just end because the AI jumped off the stage and self desctructed. Which is weird. The AI goes from bat**** insane to drooling out the side of their mouths sometimes.
Eh, I mean Sakurai said in an interview besides Kirby, he viewed Palutena and Bayonetta to be the only ones who could escape but his bias said his logic was that if characters like Hades and the characters from Bayonetta could be turned into spirits, then neither could they.
Franklin badge is to counter the curry. I just stood on top of the platform thing when it switched to fire and Charizard killed itself.
Speaking of Palutena, the hitbox on Celestial Fireworks is janky as all get go. I fought against her as Ridley a little bit ago and his Down Air connected to it from near the top of the screen and kept him frozen in place for half a second.
The move went off near a platform. How did it reach Ridley all the way at the top of the screen.
So, just because I finally am back on my laptop to make this list, these are the songs from Persona I'd really love to see appear in Super Smash Bros, Ultimate in Challenger Pack 1, listed in order of how much I want them..for the most part.
Hopefully all of the Persona songs included in Smash will keep their lyrics unlike some of Bayonetta's, Snake Eater, and His World. I can't see anything wrong with most of the songs, they don't really contain anything inappropriate, aside from Mass Destruction saying 'damn'.
*All of these songs also appear in Persona 5 when wearing the DLC Costume from or referencing that particular game, replacing the normal battle theme Last Surprise and replacing the Victory Fanfare with the one from that respective game as well.
Why is it that when I'm in training mode I can pull of good combos and mindgames against the CPU but when I go online I get beaten by a FG Link that only uses the bombs and bow?
I don't know why, but I made a topic about WoL which was locked. They directed me here to post my thoughts about it for some reason. I apologize in advance if this isn't the right place:
Title was: I gottat say, Spirits and World of Light... not so bad
Back when Spirits was announced in November 1st, I saw a lot of people take to the internet and be outraged about them and the lack of trophies. At the time I didn't completely understand the concept when Sakurai presented it, so I waited till I could try it myself. And I was pleasantly surprised.
I get a kick out of fighting those custom matches which mix things up in interesting ways. Collecting Spirits becomes addicting and it helps that you can play it on the go. Some people compared this to the Subspace Emissary mode, but to me this is more like a near endless succession of Event Matches and a longer Adventure Mode without the platforming segments.
I know that some people lament the loss of trophies with their descriptions, but the Spirits have a more practical use and feel more involved in the gameplay. Trophies will be missed but I'm more of a practical guy who prefers to have content in a game that can be put to use and have some impact on the fighting. People say that they have no lore but a lot of them are arranged in way that reference their source material and provide some cute nods to their history.
There was this particular section of the map that was an homage to the Street Fighter games that I found quite charming:
You travel in a plane across several regions like in Street Fighter II.
You have to defeat opponents before moving to the next one. Most fights take place in an Omega Stage and feature low jumping.
First fight is against Zero Suit Samus possessed by Chun Li. I believe ZSS has boosted power in her kick attacks which I thought it was neat.
Another fight is against a green DK possessed by Blanka and who is equipped with a Screw Attack.
Another is Little Mac possesed by Balrog.
Another one is giant Ryu possessed by Sagat. He has super armor and mostly spams Hadoukens at long range and Shoryukens at close range.
Oh, and there was an Incineroar possessed by Zangief that attacked mostly with grabs which anyone could have seen coming.
One of the last fights is against a Ganondorf possessed by Bison, who reflected projectiles.
I felt like I was playing Street Fighter for a moment and the whole thing was pretty fun. The giant Ryu gave me some headaches but after switching to Megaman and attacking him at long range, I was able to prevail.
Even if they aren't really there, it kinda felt like fighting against the cast of Street Fighter.
Gotta say, this and the Classic Mode re touched for each character makes this my favorite Smash single player experience ever. Subspace was hit or miss with its shoddy platforming and length, but the story and cutscenes were great at least. Adventure Mode was fun but could get a little repetitive over time.
WoL just hits the right spot with me. I see myself coming back to play it on New Game +, and once I get everything there is in the game, I'm considering deleting my save and start anew.
Why is it that when I'm in training mode I can pull of good combos and mindgames against the CPU but when I go online I get beaten by a FG Link that only uses the bombs and bow?
Well, still not done unlocking characters - a lot of them are owning me, and there are still a few I haven't seen yet like Paly.
Still, I'm excited to start playing WoL. Once I get all of my characters through Classic, I'm gonna go for some standard Smashes and test the new Smashdown and Squad Strike modes. I want to wait until break to get to the whole story bit. I'm also loving that I can just pick up music at the shop and don't have to try to chase down CDs which are on screen for all of a second and a half. The orginization of the My Music mode leaves a lot to be desired, but I've got all of my paper notes next to me as I unlock things.
Still, this game is great to play. I fear that there isn't much for single players to do, but there are some great things since everyone has their mains back. I was running Wolf's classic mode, and I got to the part where I fought Pichu on Pokémon Stadium, and it just hit me as to how insane this would have looked even four years ago.
Exhibit A:
WHAT GAME IS THIS?
Everyone has their minor gripes about this, but it really is the Ultimate Smash experience we've had thus far.
