A fighter with no hands would be a unique and different addition.

I mean compared to a lot of other worthy smash fighters, like Rayman and Crash

I mean if I were to rate how unique all of them all, it'd probably go like:
1. Rayman
2. Banjo-Kazooie
3. Crash Bandicoot

They all deserve to get in, though, IMO.

Am I missing something? Are codecs in this game? They aren't right? They have to be on their way then becaus both Paul Eiding and Kim Mai Guest are listed under voice actors in the credits to Ultimate. I haven't notice Christopher Randolph but if he's there then that's all 3 of the voice actors besides David Hayter who is Snake. Paul Eiding is Colonel Campbell, Kim Mai Guest is Mei Ling, and Christopher Randolph is Otacon.

Codecs must be on their way. They have to be. Why else would these actors be in the credits.

Brawl's codec are being recycled. Only for characters up to brawl.

I don't want to put some conspiracy theories here but at the doritos game awards, after they showed the Joker trailer, Reggie said that Smash is the biggest video game crossover, then he go back over and said "biggest crossover in entertainment". Perhaps it means something...

I think the Brawl codecs are in the game, in their original form to a fault.

Joker was legit enough to have me not complain about any other Smash addition anymore, I’m not even kidding.

This is the first reveal in almost four years that has me genuinely hyped and to see that his reception has been overwhelmingly positive across the board makes me feel wonderful.

Truly, this is the peak for me, the only thing that could even come close to how hype I feel is Fiora.

I meant their personality since Joker in the Anime acts a bit different to his game counterpart wherein Robin and Corrin acts more or less the same.

This. Joker is incredibly hard evidence that they are going to dive in deep to cater to fans. If Nintendo wanted to do another SEGA character just for the sake of maximum profits, they probably would have gone with Tails but they went with someone who was wanted but significantly more niche in comparison. Like I said in the Geno thread, Joker is the exact opposite of a shill character and this sets a precedent that the rest probably won't be.

Eh, you should take some liberties when adapting a silent protagonist. I guess Robin and Corrin are more close to their game counterparts in FE Warriors etc. because they are... well, games, not manga or anime.

I descend from beneath for brief Smash tidings.

Played about 6 hours overall yesterday. While picking up my preorder, nabbed a Pro Controller for the occasion (they had some GC controllers in stock, but were sold out on adapters). Took some time to get used to.

Booted the game, immediately got Reyn as my first Spirit, so I knew I was in for a good Time.

So far, did Link and Kirby on Classic, and plowed through Adventure Mode. Uncovered the whole of the world map, but far from clearing everything in it. Been going through it mostly with Marth and Falcon (as none of my erstwhile mains have thus far appeared). A handful of tough fights, both because of Controller Johns (mostly in the beginning), and because I'm a myopic nib whose entire generalized gaming strategy is all inertia, no adaptation.

After my binge, came back here to see most people lament the online experience. I abstained from getting a Nintendo Online subscription to see what the general consensus would be after release. Was hoping to get into proper Online this Smash iteration, but initial signs don't seem promising. Tremendously unfortunate, as it means you'll all be missing out on me until and unless the service improves.

Also, never played Persona, but Joker seems a worthy addition. I can deeply relate to running and twirling around in public with a mask and black trenchcoat.

and daemonic personae Ultimate is aight so far. Would give it a number out of more.

People are saying 40 hours for 100% completion with something like 300 some odd fights including bosses.
