It's Square Enix, after all.
And Xenosaga is Bamco so they have that hurdle to cross. At least KOS MOS and T elos are sure to be there.
Man, Takahashi sure has a copyright mess in his hands.

I think it would be really cool. You just have to butter Square Enix up enough and give them enough money. I'm gonna go design the roster now.

Also. Can someone tell me how the Xenoblade universes connect? Either in a spoiler post or a DM.

I mean, it probably woudln't be THAT hard to find a replacement or impersonator. If they really wanted to they could do it.

it actually is super difficult, japan has a very different outlook on voice actors than here in the west, they generally treat them with more... respect. having an impersonator mixed in alongside clips of the actual va would be very disrespectful to the man

and also in turn none of the english and japanese cast for the characters have played them in a long while, and are probably a bit difficult to get now

Star Allies' DLC is good, but XC2 has:
Land of Challenge, an amazing post-game with dope rewards.
A ton of customization options.
Fully voiced quests and super useful quests.
Tons of new Blades.
T-elos, Elma, Shulk and Fiora as Blades, so it has fanservice that goes even beyond Xenoblade/Nintendo.
And freaking Torna, a full game that's way better than the base game.

even though i do vastly prefer goofy stuff like kirby and k rool, xenoblade 1 is one of the best rpgs i've ever watched a playthrough of (because boy do i have no way to play it that doesn't cost an excess of money)

i just think xenoblade 2 looks like **** comparatively

Star allies has one of the most impressive DLCs ever. 10 new playable characters, they get their own mode designed for their special characteristics, a whole new mode, new bosses and increased dificulty. All of that for free!

We had a gaming shop in one of the malls near us where they'd hold Magic the Gathering tournaments on Friday nights that would last until around 12-1 in the morning. The mall would close, but the back door out of the shop and out to the parking lot would be open for us to come and go through the shop on those nights.

They might do something similar. The Gamestop near me is in a shopping plaza luckily, so I dont need to worry about it; they'll close for a few hours, then return for the chaos.

Otacon's VA was in MGSV and just did some extra mocap work for Red Dead Redemption 2. Mei Ling I don't know, but Campbell's VA (Paul Eiding) is VERY prolific in the voice over industry, and was just as prolific back in Brawl.

as for the mixing of the clips, I can understand why Japan would be sensitive to that (Even if its frustrating to me). I don't know though, they go uncredited because of Nintendo's policies and if they got someone good enough I'm sure alot of people wouldn't notice.

Xenoblade 1 and 2 are happening at the same time in parallel universes created by a scientist using the Conduit (that's totally not the Zohar), who splits and becomes Zanza, a god, in Xenoblade 1 and the Architect, another god, in Xenoblade 2.

There's some stuff in the Land of Challenge that implies all three Xenoblade universes are connected and the Nopon Archsage can travel between them, but the canon status of that is debatable.

You could have all the main party members + the main villains of all the Xenoblades by themselves and it would still be a phenomenal roster, KOS-MOS and T-elos would be icing on the cake!

As much as I love XC,...

boy does that franchise love wasting your team. Throughout XC1, XCX, XC2, there's just so much menial stuff to do. I love me my 100 hour RPGs but boy oh boy, do I really not want to ever look at a shiny blue sparkling rock on the ground or mine another deposit of trash.

At least it's not like XCX where your fast travel points depended on if you had a high enough level in collecting trash before it unlocked.

IKR, Morag, Nia, Zeke, Brighid, Tora, Poppi, Dromarch, Pandoria, and Pneuma all have incredibly terrible designs and voice acting.

Oh wait....

Tbh the only bad designs are like Pyra and Mythra and that's about it. Some optional rare blades have some questionable designs but aside from Dahlia, Newt, and the EXCESSIVE jiggle on Vale and Perun, they're perfectly fine. Rex is strange but he gets another, better outfit later on. And honestly it's only Rex's VA that needs some work, and he sounds fine talking. His yelling is awful though.
