I've been counting down the hours today. We had a huge week at work completing a project due last night and I knew once that was done I could just turn my focus to Smash. Helped that I have today and was just able to sleep in until noon to kill the amount of time I have to sit around waiting for the game.

This is also getting me to watch the VGAs for the very first time. Six hours away from me playing the game! Crazy. I know the unlocking seems like grinding, but I absolutely love it. That's what I can't wait to do tonight the most.

You can't taunt online and that annoys me more than it should.

It won't stop the taunt parties, and if people want to do that during a casual ruleset what's the big deal?
People getting salty over a taunt? It's called a taunt for a reason! Not to mention they are used for positive feedback and pre-match greetings as well.

Only a little while left until the game awards. One of my picks got into Smash 4 (mac), one got into Ultimate (Daisy) so all that's left for dlc announcements is Jeanne and Fawful. Maybe Nintendo will still be on my wavelength.

I really wish we also got new Snake Codecs. I get it. You already have Pit and Palutena's VAs so just nab Viridi and you're good, but for Snake you'd need to pay three other voice actors who aren't voicing characters, but I just miss them. I was oping that they'd be in the Day 1 patch but it dosn't look like it.

Yeah, if anything is going to get this board going tonight it is another reveal. It is strange that it is so quiet right before we actually get the thing we've been talking about for months, but I guess with people actually being able to play the game already in places outside the U.S. it makes sense. No need to talk when you can play!

Sad thing is that if Xeno Warriors ever happened, I can't see Xenogears stuff getting in.
It's Square Enix, after all.
And Xenosaga is Bamco so they have that hurdle to cross. At least KOS MOS and T elos are sure to be there.

the actual probable reason is that the colonel's japanese va died a few years back, and considering that the colonel as a character hasn't been around since like mgs2, probably would be difficult to find a new va for him in japanese

Honestly thinking GOW might win. I heard more buzz about it generally. Can’t wait for GOW and red dead to sweep all the categories though.

even though i do vastly prefer goofy stuff like kirby and k rool, xenoblade 1 is one of the best rpgs i've ever watched a playthrough of (because boy do i have no way to play it that doesn't cost an excess of money)

i just think xenoblade 2 looks like **** comparatively
