Make it so that the XBC2 songs never play on Gaur Plains

You only get those with the fighter pass so if you accidentally bought the game by itself and not the pass bundle you're spared for a while lol

Oh, you have no idea just how much I dislike that game.
And even on a more serious note, I don't care much for the songs they picked from the game. If this were Zeke's theme, I'd be having it, but out of the ones in right now, I like one at best, but even that not enough to actually play it one the stage.

It's just the Rex costume that's tied to the Fighters Pass, the other XB2 content (the songs, the Nia costume) are in the base game.

It's weird that they would only make the Rex costume DLC, bu I guess they want to appeal to XC2 fans since Rex is probably dead now. Some people won't buy the FP is their most wanted is deconfirmed, so why not give them the next best thing in the FP? At least, that's probably what they're doing.

The Xenoblade 2 music is just following the pattern set by Xenoblade 1's music inclusions, Counterattack being the only exclusion. Default battle song, later battle song, named monster battle song (no counterpart for Engage the Enemy, no continent songs/medley but that's understandable). And it's way more than what X got. I would've killed for Black Tar, Black Tar (skell) and Uncontrollable personally.

Spoiler: Fairly long story of my journey with Smash

A year and a half ago, I was first introduced to the competitive Smash scene, and fell in love with it. At that time, I told myself I was going to be the best Shulk in the world (lol nope), even though all I even did at the time was spam Backslash and win a couple For Glory FFAs because of it. After a while, I did become a decent player, and went to my first tournament. Only to be smoked, and finish dead last. I was completely demoralized, but the people there told me to keep practicing, and come back whenever I can. Eventually, I started climbing up the table, and began to consistently finish top 8. I even won once (just once though)! And then...

A light shone in Inkling’s eye, and the biggest hype train I’ve ever been a part of left the station. Soon, everyone was here, plus Inkling, Daisy, and Ridley. Simon and Richter showed up. Dark Samus. Chrom. K Rool. Isabelle. Ken. Incineroar. It was all insane, and now we’re only a day out. Smash 4 changed my life in the most positive way possible. I hope that, when it’s all said and done, Ultimate does the same. Godspeed, Sm4sh. I hope everyone remembers you as fondly as I will.

TL;DR: Smash 4 has changed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined. It holds a special place in my heart. But now, we’re somehow only one day away from Ultimate, and I hope that means even better things are on the way - not just for me, but for the entire community that I’ve been on this ride with.

Not really good basis for thinking a series wouldn't get a new character, that's like saying Donkey Kong wouldn't be getting K. Rool because his initials aren't DK or thinking that some FE reps wouldn't return because they don't use the Falchion.

FE's symbol is the Falchion for the same reason's Xenoblade's symbol is the Monado.
It's a Sword of Plot Device in the first game of their series.
They wouldn't change the icon just because a game doesn't have it(even though XCX does have the Monado as a cameo) much like how they didn't change the FE logo for any of the other FE characters.

What’s the first thing every one is gonna do (in game) once they get the game?

World of Light. I always play the story mode first then do arcade/classic mode with every character when I play a fighting game. Usually because you unlock the hidden characters through Story Mode. I’m probably not going to be done for a month. Who am I kidding. Probably two weeks.

No. But they have changed. Even as recently as this game.

It just feels weird to me. Like, I wanted Cloud’s symbol to be the flaming planet behind the 7 logo. But it wasn’t. I took that to mean the series symbol had to represent the franchise as a whole. I never would have guessed the Fire Emblem one was the falchion because it really looks like a generic sword. I kind of see it now that I look at the blade. But if anything that just makes me want the Fire Emblem symbol changed too.

Sonic is too fast for Smash.

They would have to make bigger stages just so Sonic doesn’t fall easily from them with his high speed.
And Super Sonic would be more broken than Goku.

Unless they pull an All Stars Racing, he can’t be in Mario Kart either, because it would feel like playing an even harder version of F-Zero GX.

You can’t take out Sonic’s speed, because it goes against the character.

Also, before anyone mentions MGS's logo changing, that's solely because of the issues between Konami and Kojima as the former icon was the(now former too) logo of Kojima Productions.

Me too. People hate the XCX OST but I love it. So many great tracks. That’s why I see Elma getting in as DLC. You have a stage and great music that has yet to appear.

That’s kind of different. Those two are characters who live in the same worlds as the other characters and are part of the same stories. Fire Emblem (with the exception of Awakening) and Xenoblade have new and different worlds every time with no connecting threads except the gameplay

I mean, even if the symbol really was an unimportant generic sword, I still feel like that would represent FE pretty well.

KI has what looks like a generic bow as its symbol, but it's still an important weapon in the KI universe. Similarly, swords are a large part of the FE universe, and since all seven FE characters fight with a sword, why not?

Yes, it depends on your time zone. There are people who buy it from the New Zealand E-Shop to play it asap, although personally I don't think it's worth the hassle just to get it a few hours early.
