If this is true then they skipped Falco. I don't believe they featured Falco. The US blog also didn't feature Mr. Game & Watch.

Falco was featured.

He just doesn't appear when you search for Fighters on the Blog, but if you search by date and go back to July 2nd, he's there.

My best friend and I are headed outta town to see our other best friend so we can play this game all together ASAP like we did for Smash Bros 4.

Nice! I preorder mine from Gamestop. Should be getting an email tomorrow, but if all else fails, I'm heading out to my Wal-Marth at 11:40 PM. (You know, assuming my parents won't give me a hard time for going out late at night.)

I also pre-ordered from Gamestop, they were the only retailer with the special edition still in stock. The few times I've pre-ordered from them they've never let me down on release day delivery, and they've already charged me for it so I'm feeling pretty good about it getting here Friday.

My dude I know how it feels. I'm so paranoid that I pre-ordered the game twice; The standard edition so I can have it right at midnight and the special edition coming in the mail on release day and if there's issues or if the mail shows up stupid late I still have the standard edition.

I dunno when I’m gonna have a chance to get it. I have my game on preorder at game stop, but I don’t know if they’re doing a midnight tommorow. Probably.

Still, I have to be in early Friday morning, so it’d probably be a poor life decision to go get it if they do have a midnight, whereas I’ll get out early Friday evening with time to pick it up on my way home. Pity I have to work Saturday too though... Oh well, itmll give me time to go to best buy to pick up my amiibo if they have them in yet.

Is anyone else getting prepped for the game? I just wiped all of my amiibo and organized them by favorites again so I’m ready to go with that. I’m also planning the music for each stage, and I’ve got everything done except for the general Nintendo songs and the stages with only one series. Some are just tough to figue out since the stages all look the same.

Speaking of - anyone know how My Music works? Do we have to scroll through 90+ songs on all 16 Mario stages to turn them all off so we can only activate the ones we want, or is there a “turn all on/off” button to help with that?

I'm pretty certain most GameStop stores across the US are handling a midnight release for the east coast. If they received enough pre-orders I'm sure they'll be doing one.
