Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

>The camera points to a bush
>The camera zooms in while the bush starts shaking
>Crash Bandicoot comes out of it
>With a smile, he does the dance
>Suddenly, he feels something weird
>He looks scared to the sky
>Some shards completely surround him
>They trap Crash, and mix together
>They become an assist trophy object that traps Crash in
>2 seconds of silence
>Suddenly it starts cracking, and the camera zooms on it
>After some cracks, it stops for a second
>Then it completely crashes
>"Madden Player brings the Atari Sports!"

Then i woke up and said thanks for all of that being a dream.

>"Okay"
>Update comes out
>12.8 GB
>Dataminers look throught the files
>Skyrim is just straight up there
>Todd ported Skyrim onto a Smash character

i think the new lion king looks very nice and imo better then the original

All of this. If we got a DLC trailer for Dovahkiin, I’d go nuts. 13/10 best timeline. New main instantly.

I hope my mains didn't get too many nerfs... Buffs would be an added bonus, but I'm fine as long as they don't nerf them.

Don’t worry, it’s not about your question... But something awkward related to those characters happened here yesterday, and we are trying to get over it.


Anyway, ask a user called Zinnith about the Yoshi thread, and look at the activity of a user called Graizen for the Agumon one.

Playing old Smash games before Ultimate comes out and I have only one complaint: Give Jigglypuff a spike, you cowards!

all my mains are either good/high tier in this game so i'm pleasant :)

The Metroid characters look better than in Smash 4, and K.Rool is looking promising. Same with Snake and the Belmonts.

There's something just really fun about your Dovahkiin support. Part of the reason I hope he's in is to see how hype you get lol

Ok, let's start sharing trailer ideas. Since this one is for DLC, it'd be purely gameplay:
>Smash cut out
>We see Cloud slowly walking on a new stage before stopping
>This track starts playing
>Cloud: "Never thought I'd see the day"
>The camera cuts to reveal what he's looking at
>It's Aerith
>She smiles at Cloud
>Cuts back to Cloud, we see a hint of a smile
>Suddenly Sephiroth falls from nowhere and stabs Aerith, cutting the music to this and killing her instantly
>"Sephiroth Tears Through The Sky!"
>Cloud dashes at Sephiroth and the battle transition effect plays
>Cue gameplay montage of Sephiroth
>His intro animation is literally just him killing Aerith
>The most iconic spoiler of gaming is finally represented
>All of his moves outrange the Belmont FSmash btw
>JENOVA and Aerith's Theme are the only new track btw

Pretty much every character I played got buffed. Maybe except Zero Suit Samus.
