Maybe they could have copy-pasted Peach's float/hover onto Ganondorf, with different animations and effects for him, and it could have worked. Well, it could counter his poor air speed at least.

Unpopular opinion:

People exaggerate how bad Chrom’s recovery is. :v

Compared to every other FE character, he has virtually no horizontal recovery. You knock him far enough off the stage and he's in a tough spot. Roy was already really easy to gimp, so I can't imagine how Chrom would be much better.

His recovery is a glaring flaw, and I don't think people realize how much it hurts him.

He predicted the new Samurai Shodown game and details about and SNK Heroines' DLC.

Only things he's gotten right so far, and both have to do with SNK.

I'll have to see Smash-related predictions come true before I can feel comfortable with him. Backpedaling on three of his predictions doesn't give me much reason to assume he knows what he's talking about.

Well it doesn’t matter if the recovery is bad if you never leave the stage.

If you're on a walk off stage like Mario Galaxy or Coliseum, then yeah it's not a problem.
Unfortunately, a lot of stages (including every legal stage) aren't like that.

Chrom and little mac can't really be put into a category of good or bad. They have such a good neutral but they are absolutely worthless if you get them offstage. It's a huge grey area

You are right about the manga coming first before the games, but I don't think Jibanyan is in the same vein as Goku. Me personally I believe it's in the same vein as Pikachu. Most people outside of Japan might not care much about Yo-Kai Watch, but it's still one of the biggest series in Japan. I could see Nintendo adding Jibanyan in smash to help advertise Yo-Kai Watch outside of Japan.

I wouldn't say that gimmick would ruin Ices completely unless the reduced damage is ridiculous, in fact I think removing their ability to do chain grab combos was far more detrimental, so Sakurai has got you beat

Snake has to open the MGS V weapon wheel to equip the proper weapon every time he uses one in a special or smash
