Weeell, there's that leak that mentioned new modes, and there's most likely gonna be bug fixes

Pretty sure the SE list is real; not only does PolarPanda not seem to have any reason to lie, others such as Nekoo have mentioned how it's been going around (or at least treated it as real? idk).

Hitagi also said it's real.

The list is 100% legit, the real question I have is the difference from what hitagi thinks compared to what panda said about verge. The info is conflicting, and since both of them have talked about the SE list, I wouldn’t trust the claims behind who it might be because it’s really up in the air at the moment.

I guess I’m alone in thinking that black Yoshi was his worst costume, and I’m glad it got axed.

Now, Fire Mario or orange/blond Robin, on the other hand...

Though Yoshi isn't a character I pick too often but I always preferred the dark blue costume since it was the one who did the castle levels in Yoshi's Island so I can live without it.

They should have scrapped the Pink and baby blue Mario instead of Fire Mario since Wario already has that color palette which looks better on him anyway.

Different.

Verge said that a Minecraft boss would be coming, but there's nothing really supporting that in the game's files.

Yeah, that's true; Hitagi did say he never heard about Geno nor FF characters, meaning he didn't share the list with Vergeben.

I don't know if he ever claimed to, but supposedly he and Vergeben talked to each other or at least were "trying to figure out who it is" in regards to the SE character.

Apparently sora for sure isn’t in and geno shouldn’t be taken seriously, but the latter might just be bias.

I hope this clears up my point. I feel like the info on what panda got from the dm could be outdated about the details on the square characters, especially since hitagi got the list from verge. The dm I believe is older than this post so ya.

I think it's funny that someone commented saying that Sephiroth seems the most likely. I guess he doesn't realize how little representation FFVII has in this game

I feel like this is going to be a controversial opinion...

While “everyone is here!” Is really truly super cool...
Am I the only one who would’ve preferred that they didn’t spend time on cut veterans and instead spent time developing more “new” newcomers?

Dixie, Elma, banjo, Geno, BWD and others(in my head) would’ve appealed to me much much more.

Nevertheless, I’m still super excited and I am happy that Pokémon trainer and Pichu are back

Icons for all of the alt. costumes have been datamined here. They have a black glow for ease of contrast but it's the cleanest source yet for alt. costume, each of the Mii classes and individual Pokémon from Trainer icons.
