If it's a Dairy Queen rep then it's vanilla and choco.. XD Ok seriously, umm of course a DQ rep must have the DQ theme regardless of who it might be (Overture), You know, that track alone would be a huge leap for Smash. My second guess goes to the battle theme. Those two are the most recognizable.
Here are some examples. Orchestral, as I hope that's the case.

Sephiroth, well definitely his theme. You know of it, The One Winged Angle. I know of no other, and this one fills the list tbh. As for the stage, either Planet's Core or Nibelheim. George, I have no clue. If you haven't mentioned him, I wouldn't even know of his existence. Is there's a reason that might stop Square from doing that?
Umm, Banjo... Definitely Spiral Mountain. Most of the rest sound similar, and honestly to the annoying side. So I'd go for Click Clock Wood.

Lol Dairy Queen rep, if thats true I hope its a Mint Oreo Blizzard rep . Actually you know Calane gave some real insight for DQ music to be added to Smash.

So the 1st on your choice I agree is the DQ Theme.

The second and third music choices I would think would be.

Go for Broke from Dragon Quest Swords

As for Sephiroth I think they could use the Forgotten City from FF7 Advent Children. I think they could use George Nibelheim since he isnt union. However not sure they would want Cloud to stay with a japanese VA and Sepiroth to have an english one. As for music he could come with if they do give him an Advent children stage then one winged angel advent children version. Also he could have the following two songs as well.

As for Banjo stage agree Spiral Mountain. For his music they would definitely put his main theme song in. I think they would put the Spiral Mountain song as its very iconic and for the final one I think it would be.

Okay so what's everybody's kinda opinion on each character as of now?

- About time. Everyone knew they were coming, it was really just a matter of when.
- Neat, but since "Hi, I'm Daisy!" isn't one of her taunts I'm incredibly disappointed.
- Finally the Ridley fans will shut up.
- **** yeah! Dude's the best addition to the game. He's historical, iconic, and uses a whip. He's also an absolute Chad and ****s up Dracula whenever he rears his ugly-ass discount-Dio lookin' face out in the open.
- 2 for 1 on Castlevania characters? I'll take it.
- He finally got his chance! I'm legitimately happy that he's in this game, and that he's Roy without the ridiculous anti-tipper.
- Neat.
- Finally the K. Rool fans will shut up. *Insert reference to DK Country TV show song, K. Rool's Finest Hour here*
- Neat. I have a friend who's a big fan of Animal Crossing, so I was happy for her when Isabelle got in.
- Dude's the OG echo fighter, and it just feels right having him in the game.
- Ya'll doubted him, but I didn't. My boy saved Smashmas from the Grinch singlehandedly.
- I live off of the salt and tears of immature fanboys, so seeing Piranha Plant get in alongside the Grinch hoax getting confirmed fake made me legitimately laugh. Dude's either my second or third favorite addition, and he looks unique and fun to play as, which is the most important thing in my opinion. Plus he's got pot pants. That's cool.

I was not the one who wrote that. I never said that thing in my life. And I tried so many times to talk to him. Not to make him stop to want Agumon, but to help him understand that there are other ways to suport an idea without spreading lies and/or force people to suporte the same idea as him.

Uh, yeah, what are the odds this is fixed in the day one patch? Like if that works how it looks like it works (just throw an Olimar while being attacked by a latched Pikmin), we seriously have to ban Olimar until this is fixed which is a huge issue since banning characters is always terrible and that will screw up the metagame really badly, but it doesn't look like the kind of bug either player is at "fault" for so you don't have an obvious way to ban the bug itself (you obviously can't tell an Olimar player not to use side-B and you can't tell his opponent not to throw Olimar!). This concerns me greatly; what a terrible bug...

Of course the real leak was the one no one actually cared about. If only it could have swapped reality with the Grinch leak somehow.

Depends on if they caught it in time and are able to fix it within the week.

Otherwise, it probably won't be day one, but probably within the month, if not couple weeks.

The most obvious inclusion. But I like the ink mechanic. Might pick her up as a secondary.
Not my first choice for a Mario rep. Neutral on her inclusion.
It's about ****ing time! Definitely the newcomer I'm planning to play the most.
Not a big Castlevania fan, but if there's one 3rd party rep that was clearly missing, this was the one.
Simon but better looking. Didn't expect an echo, but a good choice for one.
Was pretty obvious from the missing AT & costume. Nice to get more villains/Metroid reps.
The one FE character (besides Lyn) that truly deserves a spot. But his development seems WAY too rushed.
Between the reveal trailer, his moveset, the Gangplank Galleon remix, and the fact that he DIDN'T get leaked made this the best reveal of the entire cycle.
The one Assist that I thought should've STAYED an Assist. The best part about her reveal was what came after her trailer.
Extremely obvious after Richter was confirmed. Fantastic choice for a character/echo. Horrible choice for a final reveal.
He's got personality, which I like. But there were MANY other Pokemon I would've preferred.
The most surprising reveal. My 3rd favorite newcomer after Ridley and K. Rool. But revealing this AFTER deconfirming many highly requested/expected characters was a VERY bad choice.
Don't. Ever. Do. That. Again.

Overall... meh. Some great choices, but the newcomer list here is both lacking in size and impact. Ridley and K. Rool were fantastic, but without those 2, I would not be a very happy guy right now.

Isn’t it kinda weird how the only multi-vet series to have a new stage in every Smash game has been and? would’ve been apart of the club aswell, but neither have a new stage in Ultimate. Others like / had their streak end in Smash 4 but not having a new stage for both versions of the game, while lost their streak in Ultimate

This out off-topic but what I like about Arthur Morgan as a protagonist is that not only does he have character, but the game itself goes out of it's way to make you know that he has feelings from what you do in your playthrough. For example: in Persona 5, when you do certain things in the game, they are not really mentioned that specifically (For obvious reasons). However, in Red Dead Redemption 2, you get messages based on what you did in outside of the story (Like Arthur not even knowing why he's killing innocent animals left, and right if you (Again) kill animals left and right throughout your playthrough). Not to mention his personality, and his background makes him not seem out of place when you do crazy stuff unlike some main characters.

My analysis of the newbies:

: Expected. Not super hype, but they are super deserving. Looks like a really nice kit too, but I don’t think I’ll play them much.
: I actually love it. I am a fan of having the spinoff Mario characters in, and Daisy is hugely visible. I’d have preferred more unique, but I do like Peach’s kit so I’ll definitely play her.
: Sakurai finally did it! Not too big! He looks great, and he’s such a worthy addition. I’ve never even played a Metroid game and I love it completely.
: Meh, he does look cool, but I don’t really know the Castlevania series. I am a fan of the barbarian aesthetic though. And the kit does look kinda fun.

: I really feel he got **** on last game, so I’m happy he got his chance another day. Still, I’d like more love to a more unique moveset. Or if he didn’t feel so last minute.

: He looks great. I was originaly on the Deci train, but as all of the rumors kept pointing to Cena, I liked him more and more. Definitely looks like loads of fun with his incessant posing.

I mean in regards to ,,, and , they are Nintendo's most recognizable IPs. They are the series that have consistently gotten new games since their inception.

With Ultimate we have only 7 new stages, with 3 of them being Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination. That leaves 4 stages.
- 2 for new IPs (Moray Towers & Dracula's Castle)
- 2 for existing IPs

With Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild being in this era, there was no doubt in my mind that both games would get a stage.

So it's not so much the fact that & were excluded, but w/ the limited number of stages, they prioritized and .

Gaming INTEL explained it themselves. The Nintendo Live event was mistaken for a second Direct in November. Like, it happened. There was a Nintendo Live event in November, and If their source is to be believed then they were technically right because there was a second Nintendo event in November, it just wasn't a Direct like they said it was.

Definitely likely, but it’s pretty weird when you realize Nintendo’s 2nd biggest game series didn’t get a new stage while Sakurai didn’t be bias towards his baby boy (sure Kid Icarus didn’t get any new stages or any new songs, but Pit gets to keep the PGs and many more speaking lines just cause)

- Phendrana Drifts (so we'd have a non-lava Metroid stage)
- Central Highway
- Mother Base
- Scrap Brain Zone
- A ROB "Stack-Up" stage (just so he could have his own stage)

: Like their style of moves, and their gimmick, but their playstyle might not be for me.
: I was quite excited at Ridley, and I also like that he's basically a bigger Roy with a projectile.

: Although I'm not a castlevania fan, I really do like his design, as well as HIS FRICKING MOVESET, OH MOLLY!!

: Interested in playing him since I main both Lucina and Roy, but his recovery and Simon make me only see him as a secondary (Or not)
: REALLY like her animations as this floaty neon shifting shooter character, so I'll prefer her than Samus.

: Really do like her Down, and Side B, but her aerials make me feel a bit disappointed for some reason. Too bad she partly suffered the casual pick syndrome.
