Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

For a full on alt costume, Mega Man could have Quint or his casual wear. I agree that Richter should get his SotN look. Same with Simon and Chronicles.

Quint's a version of Mega Man that basically got mind controlled.

I'll be a bit different and suggest a Ryu costume most people seem to ignore. But I like Durag Ryu from SF4. It's done in a way tat fits him unlike the B-Boy costume

Libido, as in how Jung defines the push behind human actions: desire. Not in a Freduian, sexual way but as in every people's desire for things they don't have at the moment.

Performas were kinda indirect way to represent the creative desires for people.

Really weird how they got the rights to put him in as a Spirit, but not as a Mii Costume (which would have made his Spirit fight pretty cool). I guess they just couldn't get a lot of the 3rd party costumes back, so for consistency's sake they chose to cut them all. Or maybe they'll just be DLC later as the companies want them to rake in money, who knows.

Snake could be considered classic, the original metal gear came out in '87 also bayonetta is basically owned by nintendo at this point. Calling her 3rd party us kind of a stretch.

So, for remixes, it's a little sad we didn't get any Kid Icarus remixes in Ultimate.
Not even one for Of Myths and Monsters.

There are plenty of songs I like that wish they had a remix:

That Burning Town (Uprising)
Enemy Lair/ Boss Battle (Kid Icarus NES)
Sky World Tower (Level 3) (Of Myths & Monsters)
Chaos Vortex
Palutena's Temple
Lightning Battle (All 3 from Uprising)

EDIT: Oops, one more. The Reaper's Line of Sight (Uprising) Uprising music is the best!
Man these cues would be sweet if they're remixed from the ground up. Orchestra, rock, or both.

Eh, Ryu and Ken's designs, as in how they look, not how they play, are more inline with the Street Fighter 2 era. I'd call that classic. MM's based on his NES Sprites rather than his artwork, which is why his pupils are so big. BTW, what's Ken's F-Smash? Cause Ryu's is a move that's usually exclusive to him.

Cloud's got it both ways as does Bayo, having their original looks and an alternate.

Speaking of Bayo, I wonder what she'll look like in B3, seems like she gets a redesign after every game like Dante.

Maybe this Sheik fight and Megaman one are different ones. With one of the being in the WoL and the other being on the spirit "wanted" section.
Or someone just equiping the spirit in a differen character and using it.

Remember that you can use spirits in battle once you defeat them, so that person may have just been using Mega Man with a Geno Spirit in a Spirit battle.
