Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Maybe this is where those claims of more modes being added in an update come in.
Perhaps we ARE gonna get something at the VGAs after all...

The Wither will probably be fought in the nether and the Ender Dragon will probably be fought in the end.

Seriously, though. How would anybody even know who the characters are this early? Suspicious, and I can't be convinced just yet that this is completely legitimate. Yet I can say no to it all the way either.

Nintenjas are gonna show up soon...

I’m doubting the first dlc being character leaked. Need evidence for it, although that’s obvious.

Holy ****, well I think its safe to say that no insiders really know whats going on with DLC lol so this is exciting news for Banjo and Geno fans.

Literally never happened in the game. Not in the main campaign, not in any heart-to-heart, and certainly not in any DLC content. At most, one of the party members is a perverted NEET who finished a robot girl and upgraded her accordingly. It's never once established that the girl is fetishized. She is a maid fantasy at most, but outside of her servile duties, Poppi is one of the goodest girls in the game.

Personally, I feel like a lot of the detractors have very weak constitutions when it comes to character art. It kinda sucks because the game is a ton of fun and they're missing out. Blame the anti-weeb stigma some people have.

It gets to the point of blind hatred (looking at you, Arin Hanson). Maybe I just have a ton of patience and I'm easy to please? I will certainly defend Pyra from all the hate she gets, but keep in mind that I am aware of there being people who fawn over her for the wrong reasons.

I will also state that Kasandra is my favorite Blade in the game that isn't a protagonist (this includes KOS-MOS). Compare her to Pyra and you essentially have two different design types, so it goes beyond just the appearances and personality (for me, it's usually a balance of both).

I will admit though that there are some...questionable designs, at least amongst the optional Blades. The only one I found offensive at all was Sheba, but that's mainly due to her rotten personality traits. Every other one had redeemable qualities that actually made them likable, even Dagas.

Gorg is an example of a character who gets hate for his quirks, but when I got him in the game, he's actually really cool and kind of endearing once you get past his bizarre getup.

I mean, we found Ryu/Roy insanely early.

Also, if I had to bet on a character, I would bet on Monster Hunter (since in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite the Hunter was female though I would bet on a male Hunter too).

Wouldn't rule out Elma or Dixie Kong however.

Except it literally did unless the video footage I saw was all faked but I highly doubt that

I don't really see any other Indies joining the roster (Steve would have just been a crappy Villager echo like I said in one of my rants)!

Zef isn't a leaker. He shouldn't have information on this without getting it from another source. Its also incredibly odd for him to be spreading this information first.
This is most definitely fake. He's been known to troll at times and make fun of fans on occasion.

I vaguely recall a brief joke about that, which is rather telling of it's overall prevalence in the game if people who've played the whole thing don't really remember it.

But if you want to get on a moral high horse to try and prop up your own preferences/condemn others I guess there's not much that can be done aside from abandoning the thread until that nonsense dies down.
