I remember getting pranked once a few years ago. I never found out who did it, or why they chose to prank me.
It's weird seeing Yoshi punch in his victory animation, when he never punches in gameplay.

Same reason why does Dedede doesn't summon Waddle Dees when they appear in his entrance animation and victory pose: Because their fighting styles are already perfect.

I wouldn't mind seeing one or two of his attacks change to use his arms. He is more anthro than he used to be

People who complain about not getting the big obvious reps in the base roster are like those idiots at concerts that yell out requests because they don't understand the band is coming back on stage for the encore. There's always an encore.

Put it this way, If Sakurai was Led Zeppelin he would save Stairway to Heaven for the encore after he did a few crowd pleasers and a few for him, Jah feel?

Agreed, Villager's age is ambiguous really but they do a few older age like things like pay mortgages and such. I feel that's up to the players thoughts on their age.

I never understood where the "nintendorks buy the same game over and over again for more than 20 years" comes from.

I mean when a game is part of a video game franchise you assume it plays like the games in that same franchise and you buy it for that same reason, or am I just crazy?

There's a reason a franchise has multiple installments and I sure as heck don't get this mentality of these people who complain about people "buying the same game over again".

Sure. I can't really think what I want from Smash at this stage other than content, and such content (more modes etc.) could be added in through advanced ports. I don't really see Smash needing a graphical overhaul anytime soon, either.

Yeah, but it kinda depends on what sort of game it is. Like, you can justify purchasing two games of a, say RPG series, because story and writing are also selling points, even if the gameplay is same.

I'm so excited for this game that it's probably unhealthy. That said, I owe everything to this franchise. My career path, childhood, and friendships were all largely shaped by Smash Bros. and all of the games it got me to play. Even after all the happiness Melee brought me, Sakurai has made my dreams come true three times in a row since with the arrivals of Sonic, Bowser Jr., and Ridley, and I owe him so much for that. Words can't express how much I love the Smash series. Aaaaaaah, I'm so excited!

It's almost like the opposite for my boi. No one really has much hope for him as he stands right now (ZeRo's tier list for example), but the buff train might come...
