Zeraora can't really be an echo fighter. Free echo fighters (or even paid ones) would be appreciated tho, Impa would be a good choice, maybe Dixie could work as an especially unique one like Ken.

Um exactly how would you describe an "unique echo" cause they are still a clone.

Not to mention that I still don't believe that Dixie would make sense as one when she's always been different from Diddy canonically.

That could be when everything was locked in, but they almost certainly began negotiating 3rd parties well in advance.

Takahashi outright said in a recent interview that porting X would be almost prohibitively expensive due to how big the game is; just not happening anytime soon, if at all.

I guess it depends on how many third parties and promotional/super recent picks there are. I can see the no Spirit DLC being something like: Steve, Sora, Zeraora/Gen 8, FE 3H, Doomguy/Skyrim dude/Travis

I just don't think it's a good idea for them to limit themselves like that, specially if a second pack happens down the road.

Well that's what dataminers are hoping for. Even if they didn't find DLC related stuff, they're sure to find plenty more. I want a closer look at Issac. Not a fan, but I think he was supposed to be playable.
